All I have to say is the more water in the res the more $$$... It got quite expensive. Figure $80 for a gallon of Liquid Karma... and like $50-something for a gallon of PureBlendPro Flower which takes 3 TABLESPOONS per gallon for agressive flowering schedule. Trust me, it adds up quick!! Not to mention topping off...
I've done NO flushing yet.

exactly what i thought.. i mean im sure its got benefits or else it wouldn't be like the cost of gold.. aka root gel. But still im a newb so i figured thats one of the costs i can cut.. maybe organic nex time.
And the flushing thing now that it hink of it.. im no expert but i think if you're going organic anyway that might be no need to flush..

Yeah, I've read that flushing isn't necessary if you're using organic but the masters still say it's necessary.
I'm just flushing for a few days or so to clear up my nute lockout, then back to feeding!

pics are good.. besides the fact that you need a better camera!! haha but im sure you already know that.
Im on day 23 myself.. but the plants are still so small. This being my first grow i definitely Effed up a bit.. i started with 12 sprouts and hv 5 left. But the 5 are doing pretty good.
I had a few things to ask you.. since you are a fellow DWCer..
1) does the ph of water change by itself.. in the tub? Like if you phed it on tues.. next week on tues when you tend to it.. is there a chance the ph has changed?
2) which do you like better.. DWC or SH?
3) if you wanted to change nutes on a plant. how do you go about it? Do you flush out and then give it a week of reg water? or do you just switch right to the different nute.. or is it even possible?

Hey chusett.. U will find if u add 1-2 capfulls of hydrogen peroxide to ur tub during water changes it will be much easier to keep PH stable.
Furthermore.. If u have a ppm meter and A ph meter i can show u how to completely stabilize ur grow working with Organicaire Pro series nutes.
I have a feeed schedule if u guys are interested. But things are starting to fall into place sirs. Ive been working with these nutes for some time now. I believe i have figured out how to make them work in this system.

Week 3 VEG)Pro groow-Pro bloom... 1/4 PG- 3/4 PB... 1300-1700 PPM
Week 4 VEG) Week 4 wasnt even necessary And will probably never enter my hydro grow again. But week 4 feeding was the same as week 3.

Week 1) Complete res change... Pro Grow- Pro Bloom- Kool Bloom... 1/4PG-1/2 PB-1/4 KB 1800 ppm
Week 2) Same as week 1..But raised ppm to 1900. Began adding Calmag and (Diamond nectar-5 ml/ gallon as directed).
Week 3) Res change day.. Pro Bloom- Kool Bloom- Calmag- 1/4 PB- 1/2 calmag 1/2 KB... Diamond nectar 5 ml/gallon as directed. PPM 1900
Week 4) Same just watching PH...
Bored. Just topping off.
Will update when i finish the grow..

also, so you mean in other words next time 3 wks veg is enough?
Im wondering f you are dealing with mother plants.. does the feeding change necessarily? Because im not trying to have her go through flowering and anything, im just keeping her in veg.. does the feeding or res changing have to be as frequent? Still want the cuttings to be potent..

whats up guys im running pretty similar system i got 6 pots a 400w hps and 5 100w cfl for lower branches running botanicare neuts pro gro, liq karma, sweet, cal mag cause i use distilled water i also spray some supernova and gotta have the hygrozem. got 2 bubble stones and air pumps and to fresh air vents hooked up too a window fan lol and a circulating fan with a big fan kinda venting air out of room got couple recent pics just added cfl no pic w it yet my temp stays about 70-75 humidity never above 40% and bud is cheisel and mobydick growing also got 3 delahaze girls grown gonna be going outside soon and this is my 1st grow aswell...also tryn to get pics on to my albus but havn troubs gls on the grows ill try to keep my shit updated im curiouse what u guys got grown got any pics

12 5 gallon pots
what is a good plant to grow with high yields and a strong smoke? Im a out door grower and moving inside now.
With this st up how much can i yield or what is the avg yield for a 12 plant set up.

nice set up man, i got the delahaze and mobydicks real good smoke and high thc good yields too i..ya gotta spend little extra to get the good genetic seeds all depends what kinda of high u liek that real heady high go w/ sativa or if u go w a hybrid plant getone w mostly sativa thats what i like the hazes and widows the nyc sour d's are lower yield but fkn good tough too get seed tho

depending on how u growing it but i seen people getting like 1/4-1/2 pd. a plant with a 1000w light on 10-12 plants under light....use neuts and co2 them girls will grow big wish i had the dough for some co2 set up and exhaust and inlet sytsem so i can close up the whole grow spot

thanks for the reply bro. well i do wan to buy seeds but last time i bought some 15 out of 20 were males and i had 5 females. i stay in southern cali and i need a place to buy some clones. good ass clones. also with a a co2 set up is really hard to run those? also my nuts are ph down ph up big bud roots extractor sensi a sensi b floral nectar sweet. and some other stuff cant think right now to high.

sweet is the shit bro i use it,co2 is easy if u can have a co2 ppm meter to messure the rooms co2 then shut off as needed sounds like it gets exspensive (next years taxes) lol and i just buy the feminized seeds as long as ya get seeds from a good source w strong genetics and ya dont stress plants out a lot u wont even have to worry about hermis...i also just got this stuff from dutchmaster called reverse u use 1st week of flower and 2 or 3rd and it basically how ya get seedles watermelon and the hermi wont pollinate any fems and bud is the same. hope any of that helps any bro gl

Hey man!
Yes, most people, including two of my hero's, Arjan & Franco from Greenhouse seeds swear by the taste of soil.
I think once I'm a veteran grower I'll truly know the difference... but until then I'm going to slowly migrate to soil.
But possibly even sooner because the DWC is a high maintenance baby, and I think soil would just be easier for me and my setup. And yes if you flush for 2 weeks in either medium I believe that takes care of any taste issues.
