Ordered My First Spores!

I woke up this morning & they were done! The vail was brokin on most so I picked em & put em in the frig in a ziplock inside a paper bag. Can I eat em raw or would that not be safe?
 
U can eat em as soon as u pick em! Wet mushies r suposed to b stronger as n u need less to trip. I plan on eattin a few raw when i get my first flush
 
You will lose very little of the active ingredient so long as you don't really COOK the things, they are not as deliecate as many believe, just keep the temperature under about 130 and don't keep them going after they are dry. My dehydrator will actually burn tomatoes so I wouldn't use anything that hot but putting them in your oven with the temp on warm and the door propped open works nicely. If you get the chance, by all means eat them fresh. You can store them in a paper bag in your crisper for several days but be careful, they grow more relatively powerful as they give up their moisture.

I have thought about this and really wanted to try it but that word sterile is there a lot. I am afraid my not so sterile ways would end up with some crazy thing that killed me.

lol I think ppl make it out to be harder than it is when it comes to sterilization. I mean look, mine came from the damn trash for christ sakes. You should give it a try, you wont be disapointed :D

They say it is about a 10:1 ratio wet to dry. So if you usually eat 3.5g you're going to want to eat around 35g wet. I've only ever eaten them fresh once and the ratio seemed about right.
