A friend of mine used plantskydd repellent around his garden and said that he had no problems with those little pest that like to chew on our crops. I have done a little research on it and its supposed to be organic so im guessing it wont harm the plants any, im personally going to give it a try this season and i'll get back to you with some info.
And i myself plant them around 6 inches tall to either late may or early june depending on how the weather has been. and no i dont use gps to plot just in case i loose it in the woods and someone just happens to stumble upon it then my plot.

get some indica, it will finish early enough for our canadian early frost,,,,, as for nutes i go with 20-20-20 until mid august
then im going with 15-30-15 water only when dry put nutes then water then nutes,, slow down on watering when the flowers start,,,,, a flowering plant thrives in dry soil,,,, and when its really dry and you add nutes you see an emmidiate difference,,,, good luck!! vive l'acadie
