Okay freaking out... I need some closure

My [AK48] seeds germinated 2 weeks ago. The root on the one on top didn't sprout out as much as the other one, so I just assumed it hasn't shown as much growth because of that. But the one on the left has looked this way for one week straight. Maybe I'm being an overly paranoid, over-analyzing newb but they just don't seem to be growing.

I still haven't started using my BMO nutes or worm castings in the soil. I also make sure they get enough water by using my soil moisture meter. The pH of the water is about 6.8-6.9. I'm using Scotts premium soil, but forgot to add the perlite (I'll do it when I transplant). They're in 24 hours of darkness with temps averaging of 73-78* I need to get a hygrometer so I'm unaware of RH.

So in a nutshell, should I be concerned? Also... I've heard of people using BMO's Super Plant Tonic as early as now.. can anyone using these nutes confirm this and if it will benefit me. Thanks. :dunce:

it's your light. I don't know what kind of light that is but it's obv not working. Get some cfls and keep them close to the plants when they start to pop out of the soil. Also getting a fan on them will help their stem get strong. What kind of soil are you using? It doesn't look right they may not recover. Get some soil and bury the stem all the way down and get a good light on them.

I'm not using that light, it's just some cheap 21W fluoro sitting in my closet. I said in the post they're in 24 hours of darkness. I have a 400W HPS just not using it now. Also I said I'm using Scotts premium soil.

What do you mean "the one one top"? Your pictures are side by side. The one on the right has the seed shell stuck on it, pop that off.
In other news......you have a serious stretching problem, they will fall over soon. Repot with soil right up to the top. Then move your light (cfl?) closer, a lot closer.

why the hell would they be in 24 hours of darkness theres no point for this they need at least 14-16 all the way to 24 hours of light a day then when you are ready to flower you switch the cycle to 12 on 12 off

Oh they appear top to bottom on my screen. The one that has the little leaves is the one I'm referring to. I have no light on them because I listened to some fucking idiot on here that said plants that young didn't need light. Now that I think of it.. I had light on them when they just sprouted and I still saw signs of them growing... I feel like an idiot. Ok so what's step one of recovery process!? Now I'm really freaking out I need a :joint:

I would turn your lights on before you going repotting those. Get a little green on them first. I bet your plants will green up within 48 hours if you give them non-stop light.

I can't believe you've done this. Who's the idiot you were listening to? They should be banned for being a dumbass. They are plants, not mushrooms!

take those little lanky buggers and put them in a gallon pot at least and bury them up to their little necks in it then take your cfl and put that sucker down 2 inches to 3 inches off the top of them and DON'T NUTE till you at least get a couple nodes on them otherwise you are gonna kill them bigger then shit because they have already depleted themselves with the 24 hour dark time and have no defenses right now.. bongsmilie

OMG. I'm so pissed right now. Okay.. thanks everyone. I'm on my way to Walmart to get some CFLs to perform surgery on these gals.
I'm sure that it was a misunderstanding. You have a 400 watt light which is overkill for such small plants. The person probably was telling you that you don't need light when they are germinating once they pop out of the soil they do need light tho. Again get some cfls for now until they are get big enough to go undert the 400. Check my journal out if you want It's in my sig. Try to get some more seeds planted too if your going to grow you might as well make it worth your while.
