Ok so I have some family out there and there is a good chance I might be moving out that way. I guess the fist question would be , I know different counties have different laws on medical mj and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? Ok and for the second one, I have no idea what kind of jobs are out there and what would be the best bet for that and what would be a reasonable price to pay for a 2bed place to rent out there? I am having a hard time out here on the east coast and need to get away and what would be a better idea then move out west and surf and get me a medi card:clap:. Any help would be great

point you int the right direction of what.

the same kinds of jobs as wherever your at I'm guessing.

The OC is pretty expensive. 2 bed apt probably be somewhere around 1200...well I had a friend that lived out there and thats what he paid, so I'll assume thats average.

Where in the hell am I?

Laws are statewide, counties have dispensaries or they dont, they have dick cops or they dont, but thanks to Jerry Brown, ALL state and local officials in CA MUST abide by the medical laws in our state.
Also, DONT MOVE TO CALI!!!! If yer havin a hard time, financially and need a chance, this is the last place to do it!!! We are so fucked financially, brah, jobs are SCARCE!!!

Depending on the area. I live in aliso viejo where its average and its 1600 for two bed. 15 mile to coast is about that much. More inland and shady areas go down to 1200 but not much cheaper than that anywhere. Not sure about the mmj law. Jobs are very tight now. Unless your willing to sacrifice something good luck... Theres just so many in o.c. 2 million + people in a small area. Not sure right now is the time to move. Its expensive as hell to be honest. Doesn't get more expensive than cali. And there are literally no jobs and its only getting worse by the moment. Just my two cents living here.

Thanks for every ones advice so far! No it is not the money problem I am running from. It is a baby mamma(cant really stand to be around her). Also as for a job I do have a few choices. My aunt owns a big Real Estate company and I am really hoping she will offer me a job once I get out there. And if not I am a union worker and I am also almost certain that I can transfer to work at the port of longbeach, but if I did that I am sure I would have to move alittle more north and closer to the port ( which is fine with me). But to be honest I know I get pissed tested at my job now and I would like to start fresh,so I am not sure if transfering would be the best thing to do or not. Also I am going to head out that way in 2 or 3 weeks to check out everything out and see whats up and hopefully catch some waves.

Good question. We were actually thinking of moving to San Francisco/Oakland/Bary Area next November. Hows the prices for places around there? Wouldn't mind going to Oaksterdam University. Think it's worth it?

you dont need to go to oaksterdam to work in a dispensary.
This is true, but I've read that your chances are better if you go to Oaksterdam. Ya know, something on your resume that relates to dealing with cannabis. This could just be bullshit though, I don't know.

Ive worked in a couple dispensaries, and Ive yet to make a resume or even fill out a n application. BAsically you justt gotta be friends with the people who run it, its all about trust...would you just trust some random stoner around lbs of weed.

i don't think it would hurt. i'm sure it may be a plus. a notch on your belt so to speak. they do go over "bud tending" and dispensary etiquette.

My brother lives out there and has a medi cann card. He has migraine headaches really bad. He went to a doctor and the doc got him hooked up with a medicann card. California law says if permitted to do so; ad you have the permit posted somewhere in your home you can grow up to 6 plants for your own medicinal use. But that hasn't stopped bust hungry cops from trying to raid the small medicann grow ops. I saw on the news where cops tried to bust a medicann op but were court ordered to give it all back. HA! HA! Orange County is nice! Anywhere along the California coast is expensive. The closer you live to the ocean, The more expensive the rent usually. Last time I visited my brother, he had just picked up some Platinum Kush that was oh so gooooood!! Nice body and cerebral buzz! I can happily say I was comfortably numb. I could see why they would prescribe it for migraine headaches.
