my thoughts are that they simply lump weed into the same category as meth or coke or heroin when there is obviously a huge difference in the three..
i think a large part of this comes from weed being illegal, and all drugs being bad.. when you tell a kid that weed is the devil and just as bad as say coke or meth or heroin, then that kid tries weed and finds out it's simply harmless, they then may think, well, they lied to me about weed being bad, maybe they're lying about meth or heroin or coke really being bad for me, so that kid runs out and tries one of the top three drugs thinking they're no different than weed because that's what they've been told their whole lives..
if people made a distinction between weed and hard drugs, ikd, things would surely be a lot less fucked up imho.

All i can say is fuck the lumber companies who started this bull shit. And most of the mother fuckers who allowed it to happen in the late 30's.

Some people go nuts when they run out, so I'd say it can cause a psychological dependence. As far as being an herb, that doesn't mean it can't be addictive. Look at tobacco. It is certainly an herb and it certainly is addictive.

But yeah, it should be legal. Or rather, not illegal. The government doesn't have the right to tell us what we can or cannot do with our bodies and brains. They have the power, but not the right.

come on, coning from someone who has been addicted to drugs, marijuana is so not an addictive drug.. i was hooked on everything from heroin to pretty much anything i could get my hands on at one time or another, 11 years clean now though, and yes i say clean, as i surely don't lump weed into the same category of drug as say heroin.. anyone who would is an idiot and has no clue...
i was once in this crazy ass rehab, and if you did something wrong, you'd get put on a coffee, tea and soda ban.. something wrong btw was maybe looking out of the window for more then 10 seconds btw..
anyhoo's, the withdrawal that i experienced from a simple lack of caffeine was one of the more wicked withdrawals i've eperienced, outside of any form of opiate obviously.. the withdrawals can last up to a week or so and include but not limited to headache, irribillity, and unsettled stomach.. i don't think anyone would consider caffeine anymore addictive then marijuana, but i'd disagree..
the people who get pissy when they run out of bud probably also get pissy when they run out of cheerio's, don't mean that cheerio's are addictive imo

Nah man, the truth is that mj was criminalized to get rid of the majority of mexicans in the western part of the us at that time. They were all growing hemp as it has a million and one uses.

What better way to get rid of a group of people than outlawing one of the main staples of their society at the time?

I've only seen history channel mention it, and only once.

How long did the DT from pills last? Not so much the physical but the mental part? How long before you could stop thinking about em and shit?

Id def be more angry over my children drinking a beer or smoking a cigarette then if I found out they had smoked weed. I wouldn't want them to be stoners though.

With me like I said I had used the pills & herion for a good while,and it took me
A good month to feel myself again! But with the first two weeks where hell 4

There's always that damn little voice in the back of my mind saying come on let's get

But I swear to you, the marijuana has helped me out of a lot of it!
I use to smoke when I was 13 on up to 15 16ish, then it went from that to junk pills,
Lortab,perc's,etc to oxy contin, then herion, in that order! And the time I was using

Was where my next high was coming from! And it ruiend my life! But thank God I am
Now back on track, 5 years clean, & never again will I touch the hard shit! And probley

around 14-16 I was very heavy smoker eights to ounce blunts with large groups. by myself easily eighths a day. dropped out of school sold a lot of drugs only did psychedelics though. and I was addicted to weed not in a dopefiend way but I definitely felt withdrawls when i went to prison lol. Now that Im old I try to refrain from becoming that smoker again lol. I had major insomnia and was irratible without it.
but anything can be addicting to anyone. I can smoke a cigarette once year and be good after quiting 7 years ago. I have dabbled in harder drugs but still weed is the only drug I love lmao.
