now thats a good question. if piss is so good why not use dog piss? you could just train your dog to piss and shit all over it? idk
but then youll need to experiment with other animals. maybe you could just ask one of the guys at the sewer plant if you could just scoop up a few 5 gallon bucket of the raw stuff?

I am an organic Gardener. I use Urine on all my plants as a fertilizer.I water it down but don't measure exactly how much I use. It would be very difficult to damage your plants with this.You would be more likely to damage them by over watering than you would with the use of urine. Plants love it!!!
I believe that we are all sold stuff that we don't need. We are much better equip naturally to survive than we realize. All these bottles of potions and lotions we are told that we need. Its just Babylon money making scam that's spoiling the earth.
I use urine in my watering can and Worm casts, seaweed nutrient, Molasses as fertilizer. I make my own compost from garden and kitchen waste.
Sometimes I make a fertilizer out of nettles.; Just common nettles In a 5 litre water bottle fill with water and leave for a few weeks.Added watered down to your watering can plants love this too.
To keep the slugs at bay I scatter broken egg shells and old coffee grounds around my plants which they Hate and to keep the bugs at bay a spray of Garlic water once in a while as a deterrent. My plants look beautiful !!
It feels very rewarding to know I have grown my plants in a totally natural way

Watered down urine is safe to go over the plant as well as the soil. Just water from a can

Notice how in the article they didnt actually do any research other than using it to see if it works. The use of the word "probably" regarding the issue of micro-organisms is also a pretty bad sign.

This is bad pseudo-science at best,they didn't even analyse the urine before using it!

These plants are 7weeks old, that's 7 weeks from germinated seeds to now. Yes I use LEDs so that's why pics are pink. I use dilution of 1 part urine to 5 parts water. I also provide phosphorus by employing duck poop tea. Horribly stinky stuff until soil absorbs, but very potent.

WOW! Those are small for 7 weeks. I guess piss doesn't really work too good for MJ. Who knows, this experiment wasn't conducted in a very scientific manner. I suppose it could be a number of problems...likely starting with the grower.

Alaska fish emulsion is not very expensive, it works very good and doesn't smell like human piss. It doesn't smell good, but it works very good and goes a long way. PLUS, and this is a huge plus for any cannabis grower, it is always the same, unlike urine which changes all the time. With an ever changing nutrient solution you never set any standards by which to reference your progress vs. process. You won't know the internal balance of the nutrients and medium. I have moved on from the Alaska stuff, but I still use it on outdoor plants that may occasionally need some nitrogen. Humboldt Nutrients makes a great grow fertilizer as do many other fine companies. I wasn't too pleased with A.O. but it wasn't too expensive.

Besides, any real grower would have too many plants and too high a consumption rate for water to use their own urine. Large plants can transpire a gallon or more in a day indoors under perfect conditions and outdoor plants can use much more than that depending on size of plant, heat, humidity, etc.

For my outdoor garden(corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, etc) nothing beats good ole fashion manure, and lots of it. You can usually get that free on Craigslist or from your local farmers/ranchers. Don't know if you can score free horse/steer manure in every big city, but you can here. Because animals such as horses and cows have diets that virtually never fluctuate, their feces it more standardized than our own. You could probably dial in your diet to produce great fertilizers, but with the chemicals, drugs, bizarre foods etc I take in, I would not imagine I could pee the same two times in a month.

And just so the OP knows,that "study" was conducted by an undergraduate "research student" and published on an "alternative medicine"/mickey mouse science website using bad experimental methods and a TASTE TEST to find results...science that is not m friend!

When I was an undergraduate we were told we hadn't earned the right to even publish a paper before our thesis.

And finally,Ureic nitrogen like that found in many PROPER fertilisers has been isolated from the piss,ie. all the bad stuff removed,so your notion about them being the same is just so way off!

i think im good. with as many human errors as we can add to our gardens to fuck up what should be an easy plant to grow im not gonna add toxins that my body cant use and gets rid of just because in those toxins nitrogen may be. ill stick to my concentrated form of 'N' thanx though

Im not a big fan of flushing a pint of piss with 2 gallons of water into my septic.. every piss in the summer gets into the water can and is used to deter the deer .. mostly "around" plants not on them .. Jerry Baker was a big fan of using "mean drunk" piss on outdoor grows as an animal deterrent . well thats all I got

I bought some KILLER weed last year and we all called it "wah wah" weed because it made your head go wah wah wah after about two hits it was so good. I gave a friend of mine who lives in the boonies in the mountains about 30 of these seeds and he raised them...He used urine as a source of nitrogen on both the outside and inside plants and I never knew he did it until after we smoked all of the weed...The crop I am growing this year is getting My uring which I am sure is very high in THC anyways and they are doing great!

Humanure should be composted, piss only needs dilution. If wastes were (like totally) toxic nothing would live-everything living thing (except us) shits wherever it is-always. Appears to be a natural part of the system. Isn't the grass greener over the septic system?

Live soil is always full of wastes.
