Officially an Assistant Scoutmaster :)

The coup has been successful and is complete. After being confronted with the fact that most view his actions as nothing more than a political ploy to gain a City Council seat, he has stepped down as Scoutmaster. He will still be part of the parent committee but our daily operations are now up to me and another parent who are trained :)

So the coup is not complete. He has been fighting it. i now have the full backing of the council since i conveniently pointed out that by letter of the law he has committed financial fraud with our troop funds. Coffee meeting tomorrow with him and our sponsor, American Legion.

i can't lose this time. i WON'T lose this time.

Because if i lose, our troop loses.

Got a few aces in the hole though.
 
So at our sponsor meeting this morning, my friend who is wanting to team up with me to lead the troop said i "Am not real adept at conflict diffusion but am EXCELLENT at conflict resolution. Because when i see a conflict, i do my best to resolve it and often do.

i think his point was that when i see a conflict, i am good at finding a way to resolve the conflict in my favor lol.
 
i explained the situation to our sponsor and made it very clear that he has no choice in the matter. He can work with the Scout Council and us as we deem fit or he can let the oldest Troop west of the Mississippi die out again. I also informed him that we have the FULL backing of the Scout council in this.

He is STILL trying to side with Mondo (the roadblock in our program) but i think we will prevail.
