No, i found how bad the infestation was on Sat, so it was prior to anyone coming over. I have been battling them for a while, in fact i am not adding to the garden until everything is harvested and i am able to do a major cleaning. My set up is not ideal for getting rid of bugs, lots of places for them to hide.
So once i feel better i am going to attack them again, hopefully tonight outside and tomorrow morning inside. But at this point, walking and even standing are taxing me, so i am taking the day off.

Some dude I know has a sick ass cut that I want, but i found out he has spider mites, what would be best route? just cuttings, or rooted clones I can drench? I am a shower before entering pool kinda dude so I have been lucky to avoid the little bastards, I know a quarantine is necassary, but how do you go about garunteed clean before bringing them in? ..

I have a smaller light in my garage, I use that and get some forbid/avid/floramite going into them and dunk a smaller cut completely. Gotta be really careful though

Kinda freakin' me out talking 'bout the dreaded mites. Have you tried anything to kill 'em yet? Azamax, Mighty Wash?

I have tried to stay organic in my battles to this point, so my arsenal has been limited to Mallet (imadiclaprid), Horticultural Oil, Jays recipe (dawn dish soap, cayenne and garlic) and a small application of Mighty Wash, that shit is just too expensive for me. I have not been as vigilant as i should have been, i thought i had them under control, and backed off on fighting, then while i was busy prepping for last sunday, they made a huge return, inside and out. This week has been brutal on the back, and most of my time off has been spent on the couch or asleep in bed. Not the proper way to irradicate the bugs, but walking has been hit and miss for the last couple.
My intentions for this fight is to make a nice strong horticultural oil and ??? mix and dip all of my plants into it, including the large ones. Large plants are basically impossible to soak completely by spraying, so i am hoping a dip will put an initial dent in the populations, they i will redip in a couple of days to try to get kids and eggs.

Hey Trueno, that sucks!! We have battled thrips this last round and man it was a bad, we go some organic spray that was suppose to be safe during flower and we walked in one morning after CSU treated and one of our Death Stars got burned to hell. So I feel you, we got spinosad(sp?) and we were able to save our girls. Is it in veg or flower? Anyway good luck, let us know what works.

Dunked all indoor girls this morning, combo of 6 gallons of water, 240ml of Horticultural oil, 10 ml of mallet, 30 ml dawn dish soap, 15 ml cayenne pepper, 15 ml garlic powder, o yeah and 250 ml of Dutch Master Saturator, in hopes it will help all the other products work better. This dunk was pretty expensive, but i was able to completely submerge everyone into it. Of course i really really need this to dry before lights on, so i also induced some in flowering today, as i am going to have a full 10 hour dry time before lights on, figure at this point i want to finish this round out as rapidly as possible so i can decide whether or not i am going to start a new veg group.
Tonight the outside girls will endure the same treatment, not sure if i am going to change out mallet for triazicide, but neither is good for bees, which is of course one of my biggest issues with pesticides outside.

Tureno, dam you should sell that shit... So we were faced with mites on our last grow and didn't realize it until we'll into flower so it was all prevent at that point. Mighty wash, pm wash and insecticidal soap finished the flower cycle and it was every 4-7 days treatment and yes very $$ but pulled through. Still learning but very much leaning toward prevent in veg every week spraying something Miticide, spinocide and imadiclaprid are on the rotation. We even drench neem, azamax and tanlin for soil loving bugs. Dam we need to go organic. Lol don't panic were organic ( future ).

Let us know if you need any help brother we are just down the road. Got some mighty wash willing to travel. Lmao!

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. We just moved so that was a giant pain in the ass and now the garden is finally moved over. My nice camera is still packed away but here is a shot from my phone. Not sure what day it is on right now as my notebook is also packed away in some box. I had a few light cycle issues when I moved with the a messed up timer and am not sure how much into the dark cycle the light stayed on. I guess we will see if she throws any nanners.

Bummer on the mites Tru, hope you can fight them off successfully.

I have grown out a few party cup grows...I have a 12/12 from rooted clone, and it got rootbound about 5 weeks into flowering. It stops uptaking nutes as well. Every time I have grown out a party cup plant, I have had early yellowing.

Ok cool. I messed around with one and knew why it was acting up... the other one I have been "trying" with and its still yellowing. Just checking thanks for the reply Mid.

Nope... No yellows yet.... However I did do up potting from the 9oz to the final one, which probably allowed for a lengthier nitrogen run..
