Ive gotta a tent grow going on and would like to know the best way to control odor. I know there's an Odor Control Thread but it doesnt give me specific tips for a tent grow. If I wanted to scrup the room with a charcoal filter would I benefit most from putting the filter inside the tent exhausting outside into the bedroom, or would you just put the filter next to the tent in the room itself and just scrub the room. Would the filter being in the tent take away the strong smell from the plant making it less smelly in the final product or would I be ok

You need to control intake and exhaust. If you have that controlled, adding a filter to your fans will take care of most of your odor issues. They sell cheap ones at pet stores for a certain style of litter box, and those are meant to hide the smell of cat piss and shit, so they're pretty effective.

by control intake do you mean filter mounted inside the top of the tent and exhaust into the room? I already have the carbon filter and fan but last time I just left it next to the tent this time Im wondering if I put it up higher and inside the tent if it will be more effective or if anyone knows a better way let me know.

It is best to filter the exhaust air from your tent, carbon filtration for a room would require a much larger carbon filter and fan.

I mean that the only air entering the room should be via intake, and the only air exiting via exhaust.

cool thx! I have the huge active air filter and a huge fan for the room but it effen loud and want to downsize and maybe put a smaller filter in the tent that would potentially do the same thing with less noise and expense
