I was wondering how to vent an 8x8 room with 4 600w hps its 202cbf and to control odor for ak47 if all i need is a carbon filter or what

I would use a ten inch fan personally. I go a bit overkill when figuring out my ventilation for any given grow, it helps me sleep at night knowing my room has good air exchange and will stay cool. 8 inch minimal though on a room that size with that much heat. Namaste!

sounds good I was looking at the 8in but better safe then sorry about around it should i have the ozone generator or can I just use ona gel for a basement incase some stinky seepage gets out of the room I know ozone is dangerous so thats a little sketchy yall think ona gel would take care of any smell outside the room with a 10in fan n filter i had some in veg for outdoor with out a filter and someone smelt it I just want to be carefull of any stentch seeping out the basement and the 10in fan will keep temps down or what I know the basement wont get over 75 if that. so I should have good cool air coming in I'm not quite sure just how hot the lights will get

4 six hundreds will generate enough heat in a 8x8 room to bring it up to about 75-80 degrees and that's with proper ventilation. And you could use ozone but I don't see the need, ONA gel should suffice. And the reason I say overkill with a 10 inch is because since your bulbs aren't in sealed reflectors you really need to get rid of that residual heat build up from your lamps. The canopy should stay around 80 degrees assuming your lights are 18-21 inches away. Make sure to have some air movement ie fans at canopy level to help keep canopy temps down and you should be good. And this is all assuming you aren't using a co2 burner lol

good looking out i dont now about co2 with that much air flow i think it would be a waste unless I had air cooled hoods so I don't have so much heat build up right? cause I think I would need constant air flow with open hoods to keep temps down right? plus I'm pretty high in elivation so I should have more co2 than most it would be nice to install a tank with air cooled hoods down the road but I'm sick of paying for schwag I smoke to much to buy higrade but I love it if I had it I'd be smoking atleast an ounce a week

Yea man you would need things like an environmental controller and probably would have to go with straight line injection co2 tanks instead of using propane burners to mitigate heat issues. And this will be costly also. Your best bet like you said would be to just have adequate air flow and keep temps under control. With proper light coverage and optimal conditions you should get very decent results. Oh and btw what nutrient line are you using if you don't mind me asking?

8" carbon filter inline fan and ona block fresh linen. You wont smell anything but freshness I guarantee!

my flower room is 6x10, 2000w of lights, co2 generator, dehumidifier, ballasts and no ventilation, at all. and no odor control. i do have a ozone gen for when harvesting and drying room, but with a sealed room u need none. reflectors and all the ducting, and exhausts are not needed. save this money and get a proper ac, like a high energy efficient mini split. my lg 12000btu inverter mini split hardly has to work to keep room at 79-80 and can drop room to mid 60's with lights on. my electric bill dropped enough after the mini split to now letme go up to 3000w of lights.

you should really be basing your fan and filter choices based on the volume of air in the tent.
agreed, and whatever you do don't get a ozone generator. those things are dangerous and can lead to a bunch of plant problems. there's a reason they are illegal in the EU. you only need an adequately sized carbon filter and fan. that's it.

whats 8x8x8? 512 its always a good idea to get bigger than you need so a 600-800cfm filter would do you fine, for one of those your gonna need an 8 in fan or a 10in whatever doubles the cfm rating of the filter. flanges can be changes to any size. is there any thing else im missing?

I got the 3 part jungle juice from advanced not the best but its soppouse to be a nock-off of general hydroponics 3 part so it should do just fine I'm using pro mix with the mycorrizae added and I'm thinking of getting thier big bud for flower but I should be ok with just the 3 part cause general hydros had thiers for years and worked good I probally would have gone with gh if I knew they were the same at the time but atleast it should be just fine

Never used JJ let me know how it turns out. But if you can you should really add a kelp supplement. Floralicious Plus is really good stuff and has a decent amount of humic acids to help with utilization of nutrients. That and superthrive imo are the two must have supplements. You gonna start a journal? If so plz let me know so I can come along for the ride! ;) Namaste!

how about cal mag a lot of people on hear say you need it and ya I'll checkout those nutes I know cal mag is soppouse to help with nute uptake does it do the same as the floralicious plus or just get FP and I havn't heard much about superthrive but I'll check it out I'm not sure about a journal I have my mom ready to rock n roll though I got to finish the flower room maybe once they switch over I aint seen to many journals on here
