and yet, bertie russle, (your usual preferred critic of bolshevism) was only pissed at the bolsheviks for their FAILURE to adhere to marx's plan religiously.
orwell was a fan of socialism (ye olde tyme type, commonly called Proto-Communism) insofar as it promised fairness and equality for all, yet even he knew you couldnt trust it to the apparatchiks or the "Intellectual Vanguard" because, human nature being what it is, they would resort to oppression, suppression and violence to maintain their power and derail the utopian fantasy.
orwell was a utopian dramer, and sometimes you seem to be on etoo, but NOT when you so vigorously defend your clearly Marxist ideals with lies about Marxism.

then why do you spend so much effort quoting marxists, and defending the marxist systems which you feel were "good" (mainly due to their hypothetical nature) with only vague dismissals of those which were demonstrably evil?
i have been reading various commentaries and essays by Orwell, and i was surprised to discover that he was in fact a utopian communist, with a passion for "pure" marxist ideology, but like Bertie Russel, opposed Bolshevism for it's lack of ideological purity, and Fascism for it's nationalism and chauvinism.
as both Bertie Russel and now, (to my chagrin, since that means you were "right" on that issue) George Orwell were BOTH ardent believers in Marxism, how can you pretend that you do not adhere to Marxism, when in fact you seem to only be offended by Bolshevism and it's close relative Fascism?
you are clearly not a Communist, since a Communist would be horrified at the prospect of forcing another to adopt Marxist ideology, and while not a Bolshevik, you do subscribe to many of the plans and methods approved by Il Duce for his fascist variety.

since you refuse to delineate your position, i must therefore conclude that you are hiding it for a reason, and that reason is most likely, a strong vein of discredited Fascism or Bolshevism, or possibly even wacky Maoism running through your real belief system.
this would tie in closely with your perplexingly adamant refusal to even mention the Zapatista Marxist Insurgency currently operating in the country in which you reside.
the Zapatisas are notoriously Maoist, with close ties to Shining Path and several other marxist guerilla organizations south of the border, so i am given to conclude that you are in fact a Zapatista agent provocateur operating in secret to destabilize the comfortable tourist trade in baja.

Orwell bashed Bolsheviks and Stalinists, not Marxists in general.
he was intensely interested in proletarian movements, joined several marxist organizations, and attended Communist Party meetings in England (though he was not impressed with their leader's Jew-Bashing and scapegoating)
not a marxist? he never signed his name to the doted line but he was hardly a foe of the communist ideal.
Orwell's political ideology is nearly as veiled as AC's though MUCH more consistent. he seems to have eschewed labels in favour of principles, but he was decidedly Pro-Marxist in general, but anti-authoritarianism in specific.
unlike Bertie Russel who LOVED Marxism, while despising the Bolsheviks for their failure to remain pure in their revolutionary ideals.
