Obamas Buddies at ACORN!

Its funny how people who form their opinions based on their political correctness claim to be "thinking for themselves."

Its also funny how they look at political affiliation as good Vs bad rather than as right Vs wrong or effective Vs ineffective. We all concede that Left wing thinking sounds wonderful. The difference is that people who are actually informed understand that Liberal policies usually produce the opposite effect. i.e. the best way to create poverty is to subsidize peoples existence.

But just as posted above, Liberals really don't care about the facts on the ground, they are only concerned with having the opinions that they think will make people look at them favorably - that is the true motive of the Liberal mind.

Read some of the above posts and read between the lines. "The only people who care about ACORN are those that watch Fox News." In other words, the only people who care that tax dollars are going to aid in the trafficking of child sex slaves watch Fox News? So what do other people care about. Well, they care about being socially aligned with pop culture celebrities more than anything, and being of the same mindset in accomplishes this in their minds.

If you really want a better understanding read about a concept known as "social proof." That in a nutshell is the real motivation behind Liberalism. That is why Conservatives dominate AM radio and Liberals dominate Hollywood. Conservatism is about deep thought, careful analysis and effective policies and Liberalism is about the desire to think like the popular people.

The other day one of the ACORN employees stated basically... what's the problem, we're just activists, just like Obama was...

Not sure the employee realized ACORN was right there throwing the president under the bus.... Obama must have cringed at that one.... his friends.

I also don't care about ACORN.... now that the truth has been exposed. These cretins have perpetuated voter fraud upon the republic long enough. This is just the straw that broke the camels back.
You do realize that there was never any VOTER FRAUD right? All those 'fake names' never voted or were even registered, so there was no voter fraud that took place.

This is the issue that I have. You are better informed than that CJ, you should know this man.

It's all about the general attitude on what the govt. is for. ACORN just doesn't mince words about its beliefs, which is in line with the far left. ACORN is just the tip of the iceberg. That cancerous attitude is rife in the democratic party today.... and needs to be kept in check. That attitude should exclude you from leadership positions in govt, or taxpayer funded offices. Let them maintain their ideas without my money.... do it on their own dime.
What about far right? All these things can be said about those institutions too. Again I don't care one way or another about Acorn. If they did shit, then fine dump them. I don't mind. What is the difference between this, and the far right church institutions that are funded and end up having members kill abortion doctors? Don't you think that is worse?

There is nothing wrong with Sting operations.
Let's just look at ACORN. Now if 20/20 went in there with cameras rolling and ACORN was asked a hypothetical like that.... think the CPA there in Maryland would have changed her tune? You better believe she would have. Without that sting interview, we wouldn't be sitting here today shedding that tumor of an organization.
Don't 20/20 have the police with them when they are going to do a sting operation? Or at least have the police in the conclusion of the story arresting the people because they do the sting and then turn it into the cops to have them get arrested?

I heard these kids talking on cnn this morning and they were saying how they are political revolutionaries. Don't you think that using news in sting operations should be more responsible in what they do? I don't think this is what news should be (manufacturers to get a political victory, regardless of how they do it). I think that the news should report facts that happened, and allow entertainers to use these facts as ways to whip up their viewers.

But unfortunantly we do not have news anymore, we just have entertainment.

Funny story about last time Beck had some manufactured news about Acorn:

...while the latest anti-ACORN video touted by Mainstream Talk Radio host Glenn Beck captured an ACORN staffer bragging about snuffing her abusive husband, the only actual crime committed appears to be the illegal recording and dissemination of a conversation.

The lines immediately lit up with callers incredulous that I would defend ACORN, even though I was actually defending rule of law.

But it could turn out that even I was too hard on ACORN. The San Bernardino city police chief reports ACORN staffer Tresa Kaelke is apparently not the husband-killer she claimed to be on the most recent tape. As evidence, the chief offers the observation that Tresa's known ex-husbands are "alive and well." (If any of you have evidence that any of them are in fact dead, call the homicide division at 909-384-5615.)

ACORN, of course, now claims that not only did videographer James O'Keefe release a deliberately misleading edit of the Kaelke interview, but that in fact Tresa punked HIM -- deliberately trying to top his outrageous story with an even more outrageous story of her own.

That would be way too delicious to accept without additional confirmation, so I did some checking, and found that San Bernardino County Supervisor Gary Ovitt IS taking it seriously and launching an investigation:
“I am shocked that something like this would happen in our county seat,” Chairman Ovitt said. “And I am incensed to see something like this occurring at a facility funded largely by U.S. taxpayers.”
So I'll hold off before reaching any conclusions, since Glenn may yet be awarded the key to San Bernardino County. However, if Tresa did indeed fabricate her Thelma & Louise moment, it is just possible she also fabricated her offer to assist in the sexual exploitation of young girls from El Salvador by setting up a massage business and a line of vitamin supplements.
Unless it turns out that we've all been punked, and videographer James O'Keefe in fact IS the international child sex pimp he claimed to be on tape. You have to admit he was pretty convincing...

BTW -- O'Keefe is an anti-abortion crusader who has done this before, arranging undercover visits to Planned Parenthood, and carefully editing the results.
I mean seriously this is like calling this:

To date some 70 Acorn employees in 12 states have been convicted of voter registration fraud.

Why don't you just start here...... your first mistake.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/09/acorn-turns-florida-workers-voter-fraud-charges/

"Over the last five years thousands of dedicated people have worked or volunteered with Florida ACORN and succeeded in helping hundreds of thousands of Florida citizens -- especially African-Americans, Latinos, low-income and young people -- to apply to become registered voters. Fortunately, our quality control managers and the systems we developed ensured their ability to spot the isolated wrongdoing by these 11 workers who tried to pass off phony forms instead of doing their work," he said.
See CJ, you said Voter fraud, not registration fraud. Acorn turned in these employees, who were not doing their job and pushing them to the next level.

I said:
You do realize that there was never any VOTER FRAUD right? All those 'fake names' never voted or were even registered, so there was no voter fraud that took place.
Those people never voted, because it was all bullshit. I will say that you are right, I was not aware that Acorn turned over 11 employees that pushed some of those names through. But still it is not voter fraud.

(why are we even discussing this, acorn doesn't matter.....)

So they are founded in 1970, and over that time they have had 70 people arrested? I would be willing to bet that you can find that many people in any bank that has been arrested over the last 40 years too. Hell I bet you can find that many people that have worked for Cedar Point have been arrested.

What does this prove? Who cares? These are not people that are voting right? Unless you think that Mickey Mouse is going to show up.

But w/e you want to ignore all the things I say and focus in on one technicality, that is fine man. I am saying that it is junk news. I mean may as well try to get a snatch shot of that girl on heroes while they are at it. It ranks right up there.

Let's stop funding the military, too, then - since 11 soldiers were convicted of crimes ranging from abuse to torture to sodomy, ALL from one tiny prison off the coast of Cuba.

I don't think the priest/bishop/cult leader told that guy to go and kill that doctor. Thats the difference, just because you are part of an organization and you do something heinous that doesn't mean it was the organization that told you to do it. ACORN on the other hand is the one coming up with the ILLEGAL PLAN. Bleed the beast until you need the beast seems to be their mantra.

There is no difference. ACORN is an organization, and the people who perpetuated the fraud were ACORN employees. ACORN did not tell them to give prostitutes advice on how to circumvent the law, nor did they tell them to fabricate voter registration forms (essentially defrauding ACORN alone, seeing as how ACORN was writing these people's paychecks, which were based largely on how many registration forms they turned in).

Come on.. why would ACORN tell it's employees to fabricate registration forms? It cost THEM money, and didn't affect the election at all.

There are a few reasons people communicate. One of these is to exchange ideas and learn from each other. Another is to engage in verbal arm wrestling and to win regardless of how absurd ones argument is.

Hanimmal is demonstrating the latter. But this is what Liberals do. They have a given doctrine that they must defend at all costs even though much of it is based on fallacious reasoning. Carl Marx had a philosophy that the ends justify the means and a lie repeated often enough eventually becomes the truth. Therefore he reasoned that it is correct to engage in lies and propaganda if it furthers the cause.

This is the new mantra of the Left and it is what we are seeing from Hanimmal in this thread.

Legally they are agents of the organization and the organization is responsible for their actions. Furthermore, ACORN has a legal responsibility to screen their employees and to supervise their conduct. To suggest that all of those employees were acting on their own accord and not representative of the organization is silly.

Wow You really are so smart. I really have just had to change every belief that I have ever had by reading this.

Thank you, I mean seriously, you are just that smart. No matter how much I had said that Acorn does not matter to me, you make me realize that they do. Wow. I mean yeah, even if it is not technically voter fraud, and they turned them in (this was september 9th btw, before those videos were aired). I mean wow, not only can becoming a republican mean that I can be as smart as RickWhite, but it also means that I can bend the space time and make things happen before they do!

I am glad that you guys have turned me into realizing that Acorn really is so important. I mean how could I have been so blind to what they were doing! If we can remove them, then everything that is bad in this world will fall too.

Man, how liberating it is to be able to put my brain away, and not have to actually have facts or realistic situations be relevant, as long as it is being told to me by someone that says it in a angry or scared voice, that is all I will need.

Man now all I need is to start to learn how to diminish people by name calling. I will start with the normal, fascist, communist, marxist, and then maybe over time I will be able to regurgitate the better insults that seek to dehumanize the left wing liberals like the real masters of the right wing rhetoric do.

Yeah........

I am sorry that saying that people should expect more from the news is so controversial to you.

Apparently not to the person my post was directed at, who implied exactly that only with a different organization.

Of course they were acting on their own accord!

Would WalMart encourage its employees to steal items off the store shelves? Of course not, that's ridiculous!

So, why would ACORN instruct its employees to fabricate registration forms (which they were paid to do), essentially encouraging them NOT to work for their paychecks, but to steal the money from ACORN?

It doesn't make any sense.

When an employee steals from Wal Mart, do you say "Send Wal Mart to jail for perpetuating shoplifting!"

No, you don't.

Yeah........
Han with you it always comes down to this. Anytime someone disagrees with you you instantly jump up and down crying that they are republicans, as if only republicans could ever disagree with you, as if your ideas are so good, that only a republican who's supposed job it is to disagree with any left/liberal/democratic ideas automatically regardless of their merit. Its not the Republicans, its people in general who disagree with you.

You are way off on your take on this. ACORN is at all levels a radical organization that is based on racism and class warfare. Their goal is income redistribution by any means necessary. Furthermore, they are not a legitimate business with a bad employee or two, they have been known to be corrupt and have had numerous employees convicted of very serious crimes.

As far as the Catholic Church is concerned, they did catch a lot of flack for protecting priests that were accused of child molestation. If you ever watch O'rielly, you would know that he led the charge in going after these priests and those that covered up their actions. Nobody defended the Church - what they did was called for a proper investigation. But then again, the Church was never given millions of tax dollars were they.

BTW, for all those following this, both the House and Senate have voted to cut all public funding from ACORN. I guess all those Senators and Congressmen are as dumb as I am according to Hanimmal.

I love how some just pass this off by saying shit like "keep drinking the Fox Kool-Aid" I guarantee when it comes out how deep Obama is intertwined within this corrupt organization, it will be as big as watergate. What will those people say than? I cant even imagine.

I also have 0 respect for that tool Charles Gibson who said he hadnt even heard of this story. What kinda news man is this? Are you fuckin kidding me? This man actually collects a paycheck.

Gibson was better at doing "Good morning America"... that's more his speed. He's an embarrassment as head anchor. From a long line of embarrassments unfortunately.

A million ppl... just marched on Washington, but by the coverage of big media, hardly anyone really showed up.

Million ppl and meanwhile Obama was giving his health care speech in a coliseum that had a capacity for 25000, and only 15000 showed up.... to see the president of the United States.

Guess which event got more coverage? Wanna guess?

An embarrassment...... a very public embarrassment.
