Obama: Limits Nuclear Weapons

Which country has ten times the amount of short range nuclear missiles? Which country is exempted from reducing them?

Hint: the same country answers both questions. That's a problem...that's a give way. You don't give that away....unless you are naive. Ooops.

In Australia, when a bad person is trying to appear morally superior to their enemies by playing games like this, we say they are 'good-bloking' themselves. With this nuclear policy, the USA is simply good-bloking itself compared to Iran and North Korea. There is nothing hopeful or good about this policy - it is a portent of future war in the middle east and elsewhere.

Too bad he is wrong in this case however.....

I'll tell you what... i won't "pollute" your lovely uninformed thread..... when I know the real deal...I'll post my own thread.... until then carry on with the wishful thinking....because that's all it is.

Dude, why you gotta be an ass like this? Are you socially dysfunctional or something?

You've said absolutely nothing of substance, only personal attacks, if you genuinely think I'm wrong, feel free to convince me.
Yes, this person has no substantial opinions (or no ability to express them, perhaps) and just likes to try to appear as though s/he has something to say.

You are a very confusing person...The above statement is somewhat correct in the sense that USSR lost a lot during the ending of the cold war, but you have to also factor in the fact that the 9-10 year Afghan war took the life out of the old Soviet and of course we all know who helped the Afghan Mujihadeen ( USA ). That war along with other factors was the death of the old Soviet Union. USSR was just trying to fight to many people dealing with Afghan and the foreign involvement. I find it funny that we now are in the same kinda damn war at times fighting people that we once have trained ( or their daddy's). The end of the Cold War meant only that USSR was not the big enemy of the USA, but now we do see that countries like Yemen which grew larger after the Cold War are now becoming a problem..

Now far as this limiting nuclear weapon being a bad thing...dude we already have enough nukes on both sides to phuck up this world about 4 times so...

Cracker you also asked the question about short range nuclear missiles and which country has the most...very confusing that you did not give an answer...I have to assume that you do not know..USA has about 500 of which about 200 are based in Europe ....Russia about 2000, but all are based on their territory...This treaty does not cover Short Range Missile though...only long range for now....so what was your point ??? surely you not saying another country has more are you ?????

Reagan CORRECTLY surmised that the Soviet Union was a house of cards.... and he called them on it. his plan was simple and straightforward.... push military technology all the way and put a public face on Communism to the world (Berlin wall).

It worked...when all around him were in doubt. That's leadership. Making the tough calls. Our last great President...like him or not.

We need another Reagan....now...more than ever.

I've lived through and seen greatness in this country...which is why Obama is such an insult. He insults us all with his class envy bribery through entitlements....creating economic slaves to the STATE.

If you are paying taxes this year... UR a SUCKER. Obama's sucker.

i will start a thread on the nuke deal soon....still working on details...pesky facts and details. I didn't jump the gun.... ahem OP.

Russia has ten times ours in that regard....and the treaty does NOTHING about limiting them.

But that's another thread I have yet to post. You clawed a nugget from me.

so we agree that the answer is Russia to this question...but my question to you is why does this worry you..."short range" missile from Russia is not a threat to USA...This treaty did not even cover short ranch missile, so you using the word "exempt" is misleading. This treaty covered LONG RANGE MISSILES, which could hit USA...now we very well ( which I think we will ) may go back and reduce the number of short range once we get the long range taken care of.....but again we still have enough nukes between the two countries to kill you and me 4 times over...and thank you for seeing how right I am/was.:lol:

because LONDON.... you are British (?).... especially if you are.... we have allies we have sworn to defend (you). everything is connected....both politically and economically. Unless you don't care about ur standard of living...

Russia isn't going to point them at us...that's true. It should not be any secret to you that Russia has ALWAYS wanted to roll west. that's the point of Communism...it adheres to the same methodology as Christianity (ironic huh)....everyone needs to believe. If you don't submit....extermination is the usual answer.

It changes the parity of Europe....immensely. Not in our favor... or yours.

If the USA wasn't standing in Berlin in 1945....the Russians would have just kept rolling..... they still want to...make no mistake. Inefficient systems need to expand to maintain the myth and the cover up the waste. World domination is the goal of Communism...nothing short of it will do. Just like Islam or Christianity.

they want eastern europe back first...then west.

I will post the truth...but be warned.... the truth in politics is usually unvarnished....and makes liberals hysterical apparently.

Cracker you should know that I'm not British by now..kinda lets me know that.
1. You don't pay attention
2. You type/write, but don't read.
3. That most of the things you talk about must be incorrect.

Sorry but after I saw that you couldn't recall were I'm from (even country wise ) I kinda stopped reading, but glancing over your words I see that you just typing because you are bored

Another relevant update:

Obama Seeks Nuclear Safeguards, Presses Defiant Iran

Hosting a 47-nation conference, Obama called for concerted global action to lock down loose nuclear materials, warning that if al Qaeda acquired an atomic weapon it would be a "catastrophe for the world."

"Two decades after the end of the Cold War, we face a cruel irony of history -- the risk of a nuclear confrontation between nations has gone down, but the risk of a nuclear attack has gone up," Obama said.
CJ, no worries, I'm secretly a conservative, in the original sense of the word, who conveniently lives in the modern era.

Obama hails nuclear agreement

The talks have highlighted the improved working relationship between the United States, Russia and China.
A bit of an inflated comment, don't ya think? And now for another bit of pointless fluffery! :dunce:

I hope Obama doesn't expect us to do all of the work first. I'm cool with us doing a little bit, if the others keep up.
