I agree about the soil levels but here it was cause we had hardly any rain through winter, and the water table never recovered.

I have 4 decent plants out this year and 4 shitters I had to change from growing in the veggie garden to growing in maize not far from my place so been a lot harder to take care of them. I have 1 what I think is a Malawi prob 9 ft it's been in flower for 3 weeks now so not sure as everyone else on heres haven't started im thinking maybe cotton candy as I cracked those seeds to. The other 3 good plants are local clones again and have been flowering approx 2 weeks,

Nice plants guys! I'm growing a few malawi and a few others but I screwed up with using natural soil mixed up with the stuff I put in which were great ingredients. However the plants roots couldn't get through the red soil and they were held back from growing for several months. I guess the plants that I do have - best ones are at three feet only just starting to show a wee sign of flowering. At this point I'm just hoping to see some malawi bud so I can try it! But at three feet presently, (22 feb) I wonder how much more they will grow before they are ready to be cut down? Can anyone tell me if they will make it to five or six feet during the flowering phase? What month will the malawi be ready? Anyone know? Thank you.

I don't think the African Buzz will do well outdoors in Canada. The Afghani will be fine, as it's a very rugged strain used to harsh, cold climates. Panama is a very interesting strain, but again, probably not going to do well in your cold climate. I could be wrong however, since I've never lived or grown up North. Happy Growing -

Me neither xD i am from Croatia we have climate like Italy i grow there from April1 until October 30...I moved here in Alberta last summer and it was really hot but i realized that frost comes early in September...Well than i will put afghan outside and i will grow panama and african buzz inside under my 400watt mh/hps.I am currently growing tga subcool 3d third dimension under 400watt hps (started under 150watt hps because i didnt have a ballast for 400watt at the time so my entire grow is under hps which is a big mistake.)it is 25 days under 12/12 and i am not happy at all looks like it gonna be 1oz only...probably because i veg it under 150watt hps and because i didnt have good nutrients...

Just using a 400wthps all the way thru with a resevoir and feed timer set up.in a 60 litre container u should be sble to yield 6-8oz of one plant..i done it for yrs before upgrading to bigger lights and averaged prob over 3 yrs 6 oz per every 3 months just having this set up in a large wardrobe :)...they were fin times when young and getting that yield each run

Took the pic about a week ago. Yeah I thought it was flowering a bit late. No real buds formed yet but throwing white pistils. This is my first grow and I've been sorta slack with nutes and watering so I'm pretty happy how she's turned out with a bit of rookie LST. Yeah I've had !ixed feedback on yeild from 1oz to 1LB just gonna have to wait and see I guess!
