and btw whats wrong with using miracle grow if it your flush at the end?
Did you read what I had to say. The soil they produce is fine, from what I have used. The soil is actually packed with enough nutes for a good month. Their nutrient line on the other hand. I would never use on a fruiting plant. As it contains salt peter. Any military personnel will tell you what salt peter does to your wee wee.

It keeps him down!! Who wants a depressed wee wee?

So no, I would not recommend using any of their nutes.

Home depot, OSH, Lowes. They should all have some type of organic fertilizer for fruiting plants. That seaweed extract is good shit, keep using it in small amounts.

That is more or less how a P def. looks during veg, but don't try and fix it by feeding more, make sure your ph is on the money. Please don't flush, you will more than likely cause more problems by doing that especially that miracle grow has slow release nutrients. Have you maybe transplanted recently? The reason im asking is cause root damage causes leaves to curl upwards like yours are showing. You might also be keeping the soil too wet as the leaves are quite droopy. MJ roots really need to breathe nicely, miracle grow doesn't help with that much. All the new shoots and most of the rest of the plant looks nice and healhty though so don't feed just yet, just try and water less and watch em :peace:
Any such thing as a cheap PH meter though? im about maxed out for this grow cash wise.. im willing to invest to save it of course, but trying to keep it cheap. Only ones ive seen are $70+.. ill poke around at the electronics store.. pet store maybe? aquariums?

I have no idea what my PH might be like..

Im sure the prob has been adressed, if not, its K def.
Any fish store, some walmarts even have ph litmus paper, or a solution that u add a few drops to your water and it will turn it a color depending on PH. Either way, under ten bux

Damn so by adding mg ferts to your plants your penis won't get hard after a couple blunts? Crazy lol
I wouldn't say all that. But hell if you are eating the stuff that's what happens. The shit is in military food, ask a soldier. Well not some WWII vet, but any of these guys that are in there right now are eating the shit. I'm a navy brat and all my friends are in the army now. They tell me about that shit all the time.

Wow that's crazy. My friends in the marines and he always says that they feed real qaulity food lol. Wonder if he has all that salt in his food that keeps him from getting an erection. I would be sad if I couldn't get it up at 19.

FIRST OFF! TWO of my aurora indica's are pushing aside the dirt and starting to poke out already.. damn fast.. been less than 36 hours i think? im stoked, this will be my first *real* grow. The other was on a single spotgro bulb, that doesnt count~

Alright, now.. the state of the union.. then im going for fans

I wont trim any more leaves.. but look how much that undergrowth exploded upwards where the leaf is missing now

temps maxing out around 84 now.. low still 68... PLZ NOTE, the undergrowth is NOT as yellow as it looks in the pic... its not bright green, but its not that bad lookin.. mostly the light.. makes it look almost yellow

I would say shit's on the right track now. Leaves curling is easy to deal with, its burning and discoloration that really suck. That one leaf curling under isn't good. Early signs of salt buildup. Don't flush, keep your nutes low still, your still early in veg. Overall I would say your babies are looking much better.

Second look, I would go in on some Mg and some K. The burning on the edges is most likely a combo of both. Or you have low humidity causing the lack of K in the plant.

You can pick up cheap liquid test kits but they don't do the job like a elec pen does, it's one of the best investments you can buy for your grow.:joint:

what nutrients did you use MG? i find all kinds of good nutes at home depot and lowes
Next time you are mixing up some soil by a bag of BIO-Tone and a bag of pulverized lime from lowes, they should have both of them. Shouldnt have to worry much about ph after that and your soil will be full of beneficial bacteria and fungi. MG will work just use low dosages. Ive used schutz with good results, plants are looking better

Okay.. talk to me as you would a 6 year old.. i got the Mg.. (magnesium?).. whats K though?

My humidity goes back and forth from 45% (think thats with the light off) to 34% with the light on.. temps pretty much rock solid right now 85 high 68 low.. (68 is what my house is at.. i cant really go lower, dont want to have to start wearing a coat)

Have *not* hooked up the fans yet, I'll have to do that tomorrow.. i bought 4 1.5 inch fans and 1 120m for another intake..

Check out my new baby!

I have a problem with the third one though.. it seems that during watering i accidentally did it with too much force.. it looks like the seed was partially washed to the top of the cup.. if you look dead center of the picture you can see the two halves of the seed with the root curling down into the ground to the left of it..

Should i cover the poor thing back up or just leave it? have been trying to keep it moist.. worried about it drying out under the light uncovered like that...

Also smokey, i plan on only vegging this one until the aurora indica's are roughly 12 inches tall, then everything will get flowered.. 1 month from now i guess?
