Nute lockout in DWC?

Cheers Xs, so if it is a micro element deficiency how can i deal with that? I have some CalMag and epson salts, but im kinda hoping that when i get my nutes up to a higher amount it will deal with this...or...?
Cheers Rman, i guess im in a hurry cos she look like she looks severely lacking something so i just wanna up the nutes to deal with that.
Good news though, ppm today fell from about 540 to 440 which (from what ive read) means the plant is actually feeding on the nutes right?

that's very good news. keep feeding at 540 for a few more days and see if it drops to 440 daily. if so, then bump up to maybe 800.

and for the micro deficiency, i disagree. canna are quality nutes and won't give you a micro deficiency.

slow and steady wins the race.

how do you know what level to feed at then?

let's say the plant only needs 200ppm and you feed light nutes at 225ppm, you aren't flushing anything.
however, if the plant is getting 0 ppm water, it's definitely flushing itself.
well using your example, if you plant needs only 200ppm then flush at < 100ppm, probably <50

if you say so.
It's not that "I say so". Think about it. Pure water has no real attraction, whereas some nutrient is more attractive to pulling more nutes out. It's similar to making a slurry, or in our case mixing dry nutes. One does not dump the whole additive into the water at once as it will not readily dissolve. Add slowly while mixing produces a more homogeneous mix. Flushing is the opposite

Great, Id already mixed up a 600ppm mix so i'll go with that and see if it drops again tomorrow...cheers man!

another thing i would do is either let or make your pH fluctuate between 5.5 and 6.1 different nutes are absorbed better at difffering pH values. on the other hand, if you keep at a set pH, 5.8 is the number you want.

Cheers, that sounds like good advice!
Somethink I still dont understand is how i can keep my ppm so low and still use additives? I have Rhizo, Cannazyme, PK13/14 and Boost...sticking at 800 or so doesnt give me any room at all to use these. I feel like i should be using them but if i do my ppm will skyrocket much higher...so how can i use them?
Left pic a few days ago, right pic today...definitely looking better eh?

From what I have seen, you don't need//want pk boosters. I use enzymes and aminos, which do not raise total ppm very much, but make the basic nutrients more bioavailable

Ha ha well I know Rhizo is supposed to help the roots but the other 2 i dont have a clue...i guess youre saying they're not needed?
Ppm seems stable at 600 so i'll keep it there. Should i try raising it in a few days?
Thanks again for all the help!

honestly, i don't know. i've never run Canna stuff.

if ppm is stable, keep it stable. if it starts dropping again,, then slowly bump it up.

remember what i wrote earlier: just because there is more food on the plate doesn't mean you can eat it any faster.

Well, i think i can safely say I have a happy plant.
Ph Stable at around 650, added half strength Canna Boost today just cos it was expensive and im curious what it does. Only raised ppm by 50.
Saw some bugs today, so it got a good dowsing in neem oil solution - really hope it works cos i cant be arsed with another headache!
Heard good things about Rhizo as a foliar feed so did that yesterday, she seems pretty happy.
Roots rockin' on too!
Huge thanks to everyone who helped me through this!
