yeah CO2 is carbon dioxide. It is essential for the growth of all plants. Basically, humans breathe in oxygen (O2) and breathe out carbon dioxide (CO2). Plants are good because they absorb the carbon dioxide and emit oxygen (O2). The plants use carbon dioxide (CO2) along with sunlight and water to PHOTOSYNTHESIZE. This is how plants create energy so that they can grow :) So therefore, yes, your weed plants NEED a constant supply of (CO2) or else they won't grow. CO2 is found naturally in the atmosphere and is fine for outdoors but if your indoor growing a large number of plants u need to get good air flow or find a way to create more CO2 or else you plants will not be able to 'breathe' just like if there was no oxygen in the atmosphere for humans to breathe we would suffocate.

Easy as pie :)

But i was curious orininally what is the strain in ur avatar stunned?
lol it aLSO looks like growing mom is trying to flower her cat!

The strain is AK48. It is a stonier more potent strain than AK47 but people seem to avoid the 48 due to it's funky taste. Personally I don't hate the taste, I prefer my skunks and white widow for a good casual smoke but if I'm looking to just get high as hell I turn to the AK48. Plus it's just pretty looking bud

A few bullets about CO2
CO2
=30% to 40% Increase in Growth Rate

-Since a plant cannot move around in search of fresh air, if nothing is done to move the air, the plant will suffer from CO2depletion and will stop producing sugars needed for energy and growth. If the air is moved, by a fan or other means of ventilation, the plant has far more CO2 available to it, and will grow more vigorously

-CO2 replacement is necessary even in a room with good internal circulation

-Assuming that CO2is supplemented (with a tank of course), high speed periodic evacuation is desirable to accomplish the air EXCHANGE as quickly as possible. If CO2 is not supplemented, ventilate like crazy!!!!

-The small area directly around the leaves (micro environment) rapidly depletes of CO2.

-Determining the amount of CO2 that must be released to bring the growroom to 1500 ppm is done by multiplying the number of cubic feet (LxWxH) in the room by .0015. So a 10x10x8 is 800 cubic feet. 800 x .0015 = 1.2 cubic feet per minute of CO2 gas is required to enrich the air in the room to the desired 1500 ppm of CO2.

Personally, I think you would be wasting your time with those small paintball tanks. It's best to just have open intake and have a strong fan to suck the old air out and the new air will fill the area with new CO2.

Hope this helps you a little!
