Hey i was just readin another thread talkin about co2... What is that for and how are some ways to facilitate it with a paintball cartridge???

How is the best way to get people to respond to these threads????? I have posted several, and frankly I am not feelin the love from my fellow potheads!!!! I have only been able to get a few peeps to respond, with all theses members and all the people who look at it but never respond???? What's up!!!

One more thing, when am I no longer a stranger??? Just sayin???

depends dude, i don't know too much about the CO2 regulators because im not using one.
I think the CO2 is for getting rid of the smell of the weed when it starts stinking, though im not exactly sure.

C02 just gives the plant more to breathe. It more for rooms hat either have a shit load of plants eating up all the C02 out of the air or a room with no outside circulationto provide fresh C02. Not a major concern for most grows.

Co2 is like food to the plant. It somewhat makes them grow better, but with a small grow it isn't really require.

co2 is what plants breath in to help them make the energy they need to grow and reprocuce. plants breath in co2 then breath out oxygen

A regulator is what's used to meter and control the output of CO2 from the CO2 tank. You'd need more than a paintball cartridge's worth of CO2. And as he said above - plants use CO2 and emit Oxygen as a part of photosynthesis. That's why plants are good for humans

paintball gun tanks use co2 to shootthe paintballs you could just empty a tank in your grow room but you won't know the ppm that you released. you would want to find a regulater to fit your paintball tank.

The responses will come. there are some great people oin here that can be a huge help when starting out. the problem is there are too many newbs and not enough really experienced guys and gals. they do everything they can but you can only type some many hours out of the day. i'm not experienced enough with co2 to help in that subject but im on alot and ill jump in with an answer any time i can help. Yeah, this is a really basic and simple question that wasn't described at all in the thread title... To answer the title question, yes, you do.

-the TV remote is on top of the TV.

For real, plants release oxygen (O2) and uptake carbon dioxide (CO2)

With supplemental CO2 you can dramatically increase yield. There are many ways of creating CO2, but a tank system or generator (gas grill) with a regulator is the most efficient and effective way. A whole system can be costly and isn't affordable for the average grower. There are more simple ways of creating CO2, yeast, sugar, and water will give off small quantites of CO2 but the smell is awful. Brewing beer is another way to create free gas. There are fizz tabs you can purchase.

CO2 has noting to do with odor control, you're thinking ozone (O3)

A 20oz paintball tank will only last a day or two in a small closet.

If you want a nice tank system, I recommend getting a tank, and fuzzy logic controller like the CAP system PPM2A... It also has an on/off function if you decide to switch to a generator. I wish I hadn't of sold mine.
