Not sure if this is the place

Let me start by saying I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right section or not.

I recently grew some shit weed that my patients wouldn't want. My question for you guys is what is a simple process that don't need alot of equipment I can do to turn this into hash vape oil or concentrates. I don't want to make butter as I already have alot of that.

i like to dry my trim, make sure you freeze it all at least overnight, work quickly, don't shake too long.
i've found that a silicon baking mat on a cookie sheet makes an excellent drying surface. the edges of the cookie sheet keep the edges of the mat curled up, and the qwiso doesn't stick to it. try to get it to spread out as much as possible, the thinner it is while drying, the faster it purges, and the better looking and tasting product you get

How long does it need to sit out for before its smokable?

I'd like to make some vape oil but seems there is to much back and forth on methods and what to use and not use. I'm trying to use quite a bit of buds to make whatever it is I decide to do. So far iso is looking good but I see people say that it's not exactly the best thing to be smoking.

i like to leave mine out for at least two days. at the end of the first day it will probably look good, but it takes at least two for all the iso to purge out of it, i can still taste it at the end of the first day
i don't like to use heat either, finds it makes it dry too fast, looks bad and gets crunchy, all i use is a fan blowing over it

i quit vaping, but when i was doing it, i made my own, tried pg, vg, peg 20...a 80/20 mix of pg/peg20 seemed to work the best for me, and qwiso, it dissolves into the mix a lot easier than dry sift or dry ice hash, about a gram of qwiso to 4 ml of mix makes 5 ml of oil

So use pg or peg20? Make the qwiso then use that product to turn to vape oil?

Lots of techs and info on it. I’ll give you my pointers.

First off if it is for an edible or drinkable then it needs decarbed at some point. If for smoking some will de carb, most won’t. So being this is for smoking hash or vapor skip the decarb as you could always decarb the hash at a later point.

You can use dry material or fresh. I prefer dry myself. Get some iso alcohol. The strongest you can get. I use 99.8% iso fiber cleaning solution because I have access and it’s perfect. But 90-95% iso you should be able to find cheap.

Don’t grind material up real real fine just chop it up, break it apart, cut it up whatever just don’t use a real fine pulverized power.

Put in a mason jar half full or so of material and stick that along with all alcohol in freezer. Overnight is best.

Have another jar or container, strainer, cheese cloth ready for the pulls.

When all is ready and as cold as it will be take out of freezer and pour alcohol until it is just over the top of material. Put lid on. Shake for around 20-30 seconds but don’t shake real hard. Strain it through strainer and then cheese cloth into fresh jar. Don’t squeeze the the material or you get unwanted shit. Put material back in first jar and put it and alcohol back into freezer to re freeze 4-6 hours or so. I will usually do 2-3 pulls and the last ones are more on the 20 second side. The weaker the alcohol the longer the pull should be imo.

I filter the iso liquid a second and even third time to clean it up. You will lose some at first. Start with a wet filter wet with iso. And then flush some iso thru the filter after your done to get anything good still caught in the filter.

After you collected all you are going to pour your iso wash in a pyrex, put a fan on it or heat it up slightly with something other then a flame. I place mine on top of a crockpot filled with a little water. Your house will smell like alcohol so you want to vent.

After completely evaporated you can scrape with a razor blade but that is a pain in the ass. I usually turn mine into oil with coconut oil so I decarb the iso hash in the Pyrex in the oven and then put my oil on it and infuse it on low heat. If you are making vape juice I am sure you could put your juice in that Pyrex and I infuse it on low heat.

Fwiw my last time I did it I used some real sticky resinous blue dream bud and trim and got 20% hash by weight of starting material which is pretty much unheard of. I also watercure my material before I turn it to hash to take all the water soluble crap out for better flavor and cleaner edible.

Damn I didn’t mean to type all that

peg 20 is too runny by itself, and doesn't taste that good, but it helps a lot with keeping the hash dissolved, so it doesn't settle out. the pg tastes a lot better, and is a little thicker, 80% pg and 20% peg 20 seems to be the best blend to me.
i'll put 4 ml of the mix into a little ceramic cup, then add a gram of qwiso. heat it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir, let it cool a little, repeat till its all dissolved into the mix. makes 5 ml, which is what it took to fill the baby beast tank i was using

I think this is what I'm going to try. Then try to make it into vape oil

Instead of qwiso look up qwet. Same process except that it uses alcohol that is actually meant for human consumption. I don't know why everyone's all about using iso.

That's the one I need the 190 proof everclear? All I can get is the 150 proof is the strongest in my area.

Check out Alchemical Solutions, LLC. You don't have to go that route but they have basically the best product for it and they ship. You could even just use vodka or any high proof alcohol with no colors or flavors added.

The biggest thing is to make sure you keep your solutions temp down when exposing the the materials to the solvent. For this you can use a dry ice and iso solution that'll get you down to something like -80f. The trick is using something like stainless steel that can handle the temp.

If you evap and cook it off it’s not present anymore. I use everclear also but don’t think it does as good a job imo.
