Not enough soil!

I have some seedlings under a couple CFLs right now, but when they get bigger I'm going to transplant them into 2gal pots in some quality Ocean Forest soil.

Here's the catch - I have six pots, six plants, one 12qt bag of quality Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil which was $20. I don't know why I didn't realize this sooner, but apparently 12qt is not going to be enough to fill 12gal of space (I'm going to need 3 more bags of this expensive stuff).

The fact that it's expensive aside, it also means 3 more big boxes arriving at my house... and my dad is already suspicious enough after receiving my grow lights and other big boxes for growing stuff.

Is there anything I can cut this soil down with, or a cheap soil that's decent that I can mix this with that I could get at my local A&P or hardware store, or some alternative to buying 3 more bags and spending another $60?

I DO want to use quality soil, I just didn't realize it would be this expensive... I'm prepared to order 3 more bags if I have to, I'd just really rather not...

Thanks guys.

goto your local garden store and just pay in cash.if u dont want anymore soil u could grab some huge bags or perlite and vermiculite to help fill outa your pots.they work great 2 for holding water and air.also u could go buy some normal compost /worming castings/manure to fill em up even more

I don't get why you assume everyone lives near a hydro store.

I also don't have a car so I can only go to places within walking distance.
