i was born in sonora, ca its around the same elevation some places a little higher... i would love to leave this place and go back anytime... its just the only thing i could do for a living up there is grow... cant really do that with a child. so for now i gotta live down here and dream...reading about grows like where your at only motivates me to get there someday. good luck and may your buds come out big and sticky and stinky.

i used to live in the 707, 95688 as a mater of fact that was so long ago the rest of my family found there way back , i'm still here in texas . i remember the soil was hard as concrete and full of rocks but once you watered and broke the soil up almost anything would grow in it

I have been up and down Cali, and all around... it is my favorite state indeed. There is some spots I am looking at for the future..... as far as permanent lacation ;) .... bit further North than where I am at now..... still narrowing things down :)

i was raised on marshall road... near liesure town road... i think that was all orchards still when you lived there... im only 23. its good to see people that are familiar with the area... i believe california is a great state to live in. especially northern california... sure we got our problems but every state does... i would love to live somewhere like the bridgeport area in the eastern sierra (7000 ft)...or a little bit above sonora maybe twain harte someday and have a few acres and grow for myself and family and friends... but that is probably a good 15 years away... so for now its just wishing and wanting... hows the critter control up at 2500... got any deer problems?

Thanks guys. I amended my soil with bone meal, blood meal, and earthworm castings. It's kind of hard to see,but my bed is built into the side of a hill.I amended the native soil, and added about 18" of a soil mix on top.Half of this bed is a local dirt places tomatoe special, and half is in a fish, kelp compost, mixed with Pro Mix.All and all,I used about 4 yards of soil for these 5 ladies.I just keep kicking myself for not getting them in the ground earlier......:wall: Oh Well........
