No potency again - heat/c02 issues?

Hi everyone, I've been trying to grow plants for a few months and I keep encountering the same problem - the plants have no thc/cbd in them. At first I thought it might be the company I buy the seeds from, then the nutes, then the soil. My last idea is that it's because I'm not providing them with enough fresh air. A few weeks ago I installed an extraction fan for my flowering room and I was hoping that my most recent plant would not be affected (it was only in the stuffy flowering room for a few days before I put in the extraction fan). However, after sampling her, it's not worked! My question is, is ventilation necessary thoughout the whole grow because I've got five or so flowering plants that had no fresh air during the vegging stage but have had fresh air in the flowering room?

welll that was my first guesss, before u choped them down did u check the trichomes, and yeah ur gonna want ur plant to be always getting fresh air, any pics

I should have said, there is ZERO potency in them and I have not been harvesting too early.

how do you know that you're not harvesting too early as that is probably the number one way to loss major potency ime.. if you're only going by what the breeders say for that strain and not by looking at the trics, or even looking at them wrong, than you maybe pulling to early indeed..

Some genetics are just no good. I had reserva privada sour kush come out with three phenos - one was decent stuff but low yield, one was the same but hermied on me constantly and the third made tons of zero potency product. Shitty shitty genes.

just make sure to check those trichomes and i bet ur next batch will be better. wait for about 70% abmer

get a better exhaust fan heat degrades potency and the basics to growing is know that plants need good air circulation

Thanks for all the replies. The temperature in the vegging room was often over 30 degrees I think and the same for the flowering room. Now I've put an exhaust in the flowering room, temps hit around the mid twenties. I've just started to germinate another seed, and am going to grow it with proper ventilation from the beginning, to see whether it really is that which is causing it.

Do you have a thread or journal might be able to help you out but im American so none of this metric shit or i give up hahahahah. You want 76 degrees for lights on and 65 ish with light off and plenty of air flow no ifs ands or butts about it. What soil nutrient and strain are you running?

If you have buds and 0 potency throw that shit out. I have never heard of a ZERO potency bud. Even ditch weed has something in it.

My last failed plant is a Mandala Hashberry - two have failed previously before that. I'm using plant magic oldtimer bloom (organic) which is highly recommended in the UK where I come from. I would post a picture but I don't think it will help the diagnosis. There are lots of pictures in my previous threads about potentless bud. About the trichomes, I've always flowered the plants past their recommended flowering times but I've never seen amber trichomes, only cloudy and clear (i can't tell the difference very easily, even with a 30x magnifier). My plants have always vegged ok but lost fan leaves quite early in the flowering (more that you would expect) and as I say I've never seen amber trichomes so I'm assuming my plants just give up during the flowering stage!! Also, the plants haven't smelt as much as expected.

Never heard of a plant not producing when healthy i mean shit. Do you smoke a pound of hash everyday or something cuz if you had any nug on your plant and went the 8 to 12 weeks in flower the even the leaf would get you high unless you smoke that pound everyday and just cant get high anymore.

my first grow ever...i only used the foxfarms liquid trio, and a 250w HPS for one plant...smalled amazing! lots of trichs, but not sticky at all...the smoke did nothing, but make my eyes water...it was very depressing. since then i have grown numerous times, with the fox farms souluble line up as well, and under a 400w HPS and havent had that problem ever again...i am willing to bet it is in the nutrients...either bad shitty, or your are feeding too often locking a critical nutrient out in the resin production...pictures would only diagnose an early chopped, or nutrient locked out plant...but it may help.

Ok here are some pictures at last. The first and second is of the hashberry, the third and fourth of the bb cheese (the third one is the amount of leaves that have fallen of the plant!).

Looks bomb as shit the first pic made me change my underwear! Do they compare to previous grows. How much do you smoke bro hahahaha i get high off my leaf. Get a scope and wait till you see milky to amber and thats shit will knock your dick in the dirt. Good growing buddy!

how long after you took them pics did you harvest? If you harvested them after them pics that is why, too early. The hairs are all still white. More info wouldnt hurt :)

Oh sorry, these are the pictures of my most recent plants (currently flowering). I'm not sure how far into 12/12 the cheese is yet probably about 3 weeks from 12/12 (have to check notes though). The hashberry is at least 8 weeks into 12/12 though. I know it's too early to harvest so I'll probably give the hashberry a few more weeks at least (some of the hairs are brown though). I might sound pessimistic but I don't think the hashberry will work out (considering I tried it a few days ago). It's not wasting any space though because I haven't got anything vegging at the moment.

Nice plants dude, and if your not happy with what your growing, send it all to me, I will give a 2nd opinion, lol

Honestly johnp410 I'm pretty near to giving them away!:( These plants are in a similar state to my previous grows, you can check them on my sig., and they've all looked similar - good looking buds but no potency at all. I've been looking at the trichs in all grows (apart from the first) but very strangely never ever seen an amber trich. Hashberry is supposed to be a 8-9 week strain so I don't think there's much point to growing it for much longer. I've been unsuccessfully growing now for a good part of a year!!! I guess it must be the ventilation issue which I hope I've now sorted out. I'd say the temperature in my flowering room is now about the low to mid 80s which should be fine from what I've read.
