Looks like you might have kinked the stem when you bent it. Just cut it off and proceed.

you dont have to top it but if its all limp then tie it down. this way the lower buds will fatten up and your not gonna stress the plant too much by topping this late into flower.

If the top is dead cutting it off is not going to stress it anymore than it already has. And not just picking on you L but on a lot of threads where did the stress thing begin anyway? its a plant cutting off a branch is not going to do anything that would casue the boogieman to come out.

now look at the top...the one all the way to the back left is the one top i cut off because it drooped and died..
