So far I'm very impressed with ICE. It's flowering really fast. Lots of trichome production. It's a little stinky.....Smell is dank with very slight skunk note. Clones Very easy.
Comments / Suggestions are always welcome. bongsmilie
 
I hope it works out for you better than my ICE plants did. 2 out of 3 of mine hermied, while none of my other strains did at all.

And the one that didnt was tiny........but PACKED with trichs.

White hairs beginning to turn orange

Also some of the leaves are turning yellow... Not sure if this is just maturing or possible cal/mag deficiencies or both. My PH is always around 6.0 and haven't gone over 800ppm. Did a rez change a few days ago as well.

I would try to add some cal/mag nutrients. as mag. def. tend to show during 3-4th week of flowering. Im not sure if thats the problem but shit it cant hurt add some half strength.

cool, thanks. yeah right before i snapped those pics a few min ago i top fed about 150-180ppm of water with cal/mag. also might do another rez change later just for kicks
 
Cool hopefully it helps. Are you using soil in a flood table? How does the soil stay in the pots and not run out when the table drains? Also do you have problems with roots coming out of the pots?

Using a soilless mix. http://aurorainnovations.com/soilless.html, its around ~150ppm. I packed it down in the pots so runoff is really minimum, a lot less than i expected. Haven't had any problems yet with roots, there's a few poking out of the pots slightly. I flood once once a day when the lights turn on for about 15 min.

Here's a pick inside the tray...Never cleaned it out...Pretty clean so far

Thats pretty cool. I might try that on my next adventure. I been using a flood table but with rockwool surrounded by hydroton. you setup sounds easier and cheaper.

My electronic ballast blew out.... I had to use a 250w the last couple weeks until I got another 400w back online yesterday. Chopping in maybe 2 weeks
 
looks good your plants are smaller than mine but your buds are fatter than mine. and way more crystally. damn great job man.

AHA! Found another Nirvana ICE grower. Excellent.

Here is the biggest Nirvana ICE nug I grew. The first time growing and I ended up with NFL regulation sized cola. I like to share this image with anyone growing Nirvana's ICE.

I've done a few grows since then and each harvest produced a mind-blowing high (mostly OG's), but the ICE high still remains in my memory. The ICE I grew gave me the most euphoric high I've ever had. This is very happy weed. You'll love it.

Day 61 you say? You should harvest that shit immediately. Your nugs look good and mature.

I always used to think I was harvesting early. But I experienced the very real danger of going too long with my last grow. There is a point in the flower period where the plant's potency reaches its peak...Beyond that, the plant's psychoactive properties start degrading and your potency is reduced.

I don't worry myself too much on the amber/cloudy trich argument. I can pretty much tell from the way the plants look when they're going too long. Yours still look good, but I wouldn't let them go much longer if I were you... They look a lot like my ICE when I harvested. (The photo I so brazenly posted in your journal was taken just a few days before harvest) -- And again, one of the finest highs I've ever had in my almost 20 years of blazing.

sweet lookin ice. I have a few ice going accualy just harvested one. it was 1 of 2 started at the same time. the other is around 60 days and no where near done. the other was done around 52 days.
