Hi,

I am newbie, thanks for being patient for me. I have been reading as much as I can on line.

So, to recap..is the following 100% true about hydro vs soil for indoor growing?

1. hydro grown plants takes half the time to grow then soil (pots) indoors?
2. hydro w/proper nutrients has less/no bug/pest problems
3. yield is larger with hydro then soil based plants?
4. but....users can taste feel difference of hydro vs soil?
5. soil based is a "better" product, worth more ($)
6. Is the indoor tent system as effective as building a 'room with in a room'?
7. can carbon or charcoal filter really get rid of 99% of the smell that goes outdoors *(neighbours)
8.do the turn key systems offered on line form canada (sunlight sheds, etc.) really do what they say (set up in 15 minutes. need very little maintenance, etc.)

Thanks!:weed:

1 - False, however lets say you give 2 plants 2 weeks to grow. The hydro plant will be larger, by far.
2 - Only because hydro eliminates soil born pest... Which is alot :)
3 - False, see answer 1
4 - True to an extent, I think both methods can get good results but lets be honest, you wont see to many hydro grown plants at the cannabis cup
5 - Nah, its just easier to obtain a bettter tasting/smelling product with soil
6 - There is no comparison between a room in a room and tent. One you can control climate, noise ect...
7 - Yes assuming you keep your humidity below 70% after that a carbon filter is reduced by roughly half its effectiveness
8 - No idea.
