This is my first grow. im growing 10 A.M.S strain plants. And 4 of the 10 have yellow leaves and on some of the tips of the green leaves are starting to turn yellow also. I have been giving them 300ml of water every day and using 5ml of grow nutes for every 5 liters of water which is half the recomended dose on the bottle. Please can anyone offer any advice or help?

stop watering every day. let the soil dry out between waterings. stop the nutes for a few weeks. then use nutes once every two weeks.

btw welcome to Rollitup!
Thanks mate. Shes getting nutes every 2nd day. The guide that i read said in the veg stage give 300ml of wather ever day then when you go into flowing stage give 400ml every 2nd day. Even with 300ml a day the soil is very dry once i go to wather her the next day.

ya my soil usually is pretty dry by the second day too, but thats a good thing. Constantly moist soil will cause your roots to be weak and can lead to root rot. By leaving your soil dry for a couple of days you make your roots spead out and get stronger because they are searching the soil for nutrients. Also, what nutrients are you using, are they a all in one or do you have all the nutrients seprate. If you have an all in one your plants may be getting too much of one nutrient and not enough of another. I would recommend giving nutes every third watering and only watering every other day at the most.

you should water very well. Then let dry and water again. You might read that again. sounds wrong for any type of plant.

Would that explain the yellowish looking leaves if i was giving her to much water? Il try for a week and see if this makes a difference.

Also how tall does my plants have to be before they can go into flowering does she look anywhere near?

ya overwatering over nutes is definetly a cause for yellowing leaves, you could start flowering right now if you want they are plenty big enough, don't forget plants usually get much bigger when they start flowering

and btw you should try it indefinetly, you really shouldnt be watering everyday at any point during a growth, go to the faq section of this site and you can find a lot of info on watering and plant problems... also, if your plants are really using that much water and its not evaporating, it's time for a bigger pot

I would guess it. Part over water and part over nute. When the tips get yellow and dry you can bet it's nute burn.

Also you might be watering to fast. If you water fast the water goes threw and very little stays in the soil. I water with a sprayer from start to finish. I water every 3-4 days and feed evey 3ed watering
