Hey man sorry i don't want to hijack your thread or anything, but since KuckCanuck is from Canada, i gotta ask ya, how do you guys like your health care? As with most things, its all to shit here in the states, and people claim that in canada and europe you have to wait forever in hospitals to get treatment for anything. Is this true or biased bullshit?
On a more on topic note, lets see some pics Tem!
The healthcare is great here, I never see a bill, and if I need a hospital my waits have been from 2 - 4 hours at the maximum, if it's urgent I'm in within 15 minutes. My family doctor is also always on-call so I have no complaints mate. Lots of benefits to Canada :blsmoke::peace:

that's really good to hear, I fucking hate the people here sometimes...trashing canadian health care, "you have to wait forever..." nice to know that's actually propaganda BS.

pics coming on Sunday. I like waiting a week, to allow for more exciting picture developments. + it makes the journal a little more organized.

I got no problem with that mate, gives us an idea of growth and development on a weekly basis, and it is more organized (far less pages). One must be wary of propaganda, I'll be waiting for your update :blsmoke:

So I've sent them into 12/12 light cycle. Hopefully they'll adjust well to the change.

I've started giving them an extremely diluted solution of 15-30-15 NPK fertilizer. I started with a 1/4 of teaspoon to a half gallon of water, and then I'm further diluting by combing 100ml of the solution with 100ml of H20.

Took some photos, they're starting to look pretty damn sexy. The one I've been suspecting to be male, (I guess i'll know in two weeks), has quite a bit of stretching, but other than that I think they look pretty nice.:leaf:

***First two and last pictures are all of the alpha female of the bunch, group shot in the middle.

What happened with the fourth plant?
Yeah, they have stretched, but I can see You put Your light closer - space between internodes at the top is smaller.
I did the same mistake, but fixed it doing LST.

yeah, I'm sorry I could see how that could be confusing. The fourth plant was still on the ground from all the solo photos.

my light is fixed and I have to adjust my plants when they get to tall, so sometimes I can't adjust the light in small increments, keeps messing up my spacing...oh well.:leaf:

yo man, if you dont mind me asking what site did you order the seeds from?
marijuana-seeds.nl I ordered them from there because I'm on a tight budget, I have no idea about the quality of the genetics. Most of the northern lights I see on other websites have a number attached, like NL #5 or something. This was labeled just as "Northern Lights" so I don't even know what I'm growing really.

So my babies had a rough time this week. I ended up getting sick with a fever of 104 on Wednesday. I had to leave them in the care of my roomate who doesn't seem to appreciate their sensitivity. He broke the light regiment once, and watered them with water straight out of the tap probably loaded with chlorine and fluoride and bullshit like that. So they look pretty stressed, but I'm back in the saddle and hopefully will be able to nurse them back to health with the TLC they've been lacking for the past four to five days.

Some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow and die, I don't know if it's from the water, stress or both, or just the lack of light they're getting down there.

But on the brighter side of things, the plants are starting to fatten up, and I can see a couple little bud sites popping up. I can't really tell if there are any males yet, some of them have a little sac with hairs coming out but no bunches of nuts yet, so that's good. Hopefully my babies will bounce back, I think they will, they are still growing quite vigorously.:leaf:

They should be fine bro with the tap watering, my general rule of thumb is if I would serve it to my mother, I won't serve it to my plants :blsmoke:. The next couple of waterings will rid yourself of the harmful build-ups (seriously doubting there are any) anyways. The yellowing on the leaf in picture 2 looks like a little evidence of tap water reacting with your nutrients, nothing to fret over though. Looking forward to your next update my friend

yeah I was really afraid of burning them when they were young so they suffered quite a bit of stretching.

More bad news, I found another male...this is starting demoralize me. If I lose another plant anything I harvest will not be worth the amount of money I put into this project...I'm not doing it for the money I'm keeping everything I harvest, but it's still disappointing. This was my best looking plant too, thats what pisses me off the most, meanwhile the plant I suspected was a male still has not shown any nuts...this shit is confusing.

Other than all that bullshit things are still the same, 12/12 for my two remaining plants. Giving them a watered down miracle grow feed every two weeks or so. Hoping they grow some pistils or I'm going to freak out.

The pictures of my remaining plants and the one I'm going to destroy tonight, wish me luck, I need it. Peace :leaf:

I feel like my last two plants are female...I think I see pistils starting to poke out of the top of the plant I thought was a dude, so thats some good news...

Does anyone know why the top of the plants bend over sometimes, are they getting too close to the light??

I'm 90% sure the plant I thought was a male is a female. I can see some white hairs starting to poke out at the top. Lankiness and aggressive growth is no way to judge sex no matter what some people might have you believe I guess.

I'm about 75% sure the other plant is female, I think I see some hair tips starting to poke through, but this plant is a little less developed than the other so it might take a few more days.

so thats my good news for the day. peace.

One of my plants is acting funny, if the fan leaves were a hand it is like its putting just one finger down, like the middle or index blades on the leaf. Is that just stress??
