Should work well. I've vegged under less.

If you're looking for a decent cheap veg light for under $50 then search on trademe for things like hi bay lights, low bay lights, factory lights, workshop lights. You'd find HPS lights for the same price.

There's heaps of these magnetic ballast type HID's on trademe, i got my 250w for $30 and i got the 250w bulb for $20 on aliexpress, 400w bulbs are only a dollar more.

You should get yourself a 250w mh but make sure you look up ANSI codes if you do cause there are bulbs for pulse start ballasts that start the bulb with an ignitor and bulbs for probe start ballasts that start the bulb with a switch inside the bulb like M138 for pulse start and M59 for probe start, don't want to get the wrong bulb. If you can't tell which type a ballast is when you get it you can open the ballast and there will be 3 components for a pulse start and only 2 for probe start.

Cheap 400w MH for $20, decent grow light, just got to attach a power plug:

Damn thats cheap! Shows what some searching can do :) Thanks dime. All seems to make sense.

Woah 400w for 20! Good as price. Do those kinda lights get warm and need a fan?

Algood in a green or glasshouse, I reckon you could grow anything over here in a glasshouse. That bangi would be a good fall back strain if al else fails, I reckon it would've still gone alright in that april we just had. I'd start introducing that into my strains if I were scrubdog or lived down south.

Yeah 16/8 light/dark if you're gonna put them out early. sweet as that guano will make your weed good, your gonna have the best outdoor in your city next year lol. I'll probably use the same nutes too, a veg guano, flower one(already have) and potash.

I bet they would cause NZ doesn't go into 50S lat and has been grown at that latitude so I don't see why not. Shit I bet it's bloody potent and absolutely frosty too, here's some fems bro http://www.herbiespicknmixseeds.com/single-pick-n-mix-cannabiogen-panama-dc-feminised-seeds-2879, shit they have peyote purple too!.
Yeah not doing too much to me because I need a tolerance break asap, probably start today since I haven't smoked yet.
Don't really know how long to go, probably have to start harvesting in the next 2 weeks. pic weren't uploading properly here so check this if you wanna see them https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=6335070#post6335070
Yea imagine having some top class sativas like Malawi in a green house, man thatd be killer. Bangi would defiantly be a good fall back strain, youd still have some smoke if everything else went to shit.Yeah scrubdog should defiantly grow it out down his way :) That bush weed guy grows some Massive sativas they look great.

Cheers mate 16/8 sounds algood. Gonna germinate my seeds around October sometime. Probably will have the madest outdoors around here  The guano nutes seem algood but I might get non liquid guano nutes because its a pretty big hike to go and feed them liquid nutes all the time. You can get them online ae?

Aw itd be fine here then! Yeah cant wait for the Panama DC lol Cheers for the link, happy they have fems. Shit man that peyote purple is another must grown to ad to the list, that things amazing looking! I heard there's a pheno in the Deep chunk were the whole plant turns purple and almost black haha Wonder if that pheno can come through on the Panama DC.
Algood, a tolerance break will kick ass, coz youl get high as again. Just checked out the Malawi pics, they look primo and pretty frosty.
Bet there aint many plants still going over here If any. Your probably the only one left with an outdoor plant lol

Yea they get a bit warm but it's not too hard to deal with, i have a 250w mh and a 400w hps and i only need a small 36w blower fan for an intake to keep my closet at a good temperature as well as an osc fan over the plants and a small 20w exhaust fan. I should have the 36w as an exhaust and 20w for the intake but it's too late to change it now.

Fuel, lemon kinda smell but you'd definitely know if it were a blueberry pheno because that's a smell you can't forget. What's you favourite strain so far?. I'll make an indoor thread soon I think.
Definitely the sage and sour freebee i got. Buds aren't as pretty as the kushberry or any of the others and the smell ain't as great but the high is good and the yeild is good. More of a happy high.

I'm not familiar with the smell of blueberry's but it does have quite a sweet smell in flower, smells like some sort of candy.
Been drying for 7 days now so the dry smell won't pick up until i jar em.

Aw algood cheers bro, id probably just get some small fans and shit. Still decideing :)

Yeah a greenhouse is by far the best way to grow ganja, indoor conditions with the beast of a light in the sky. Bangi Haze is pretty racy apparently, not surprised because it has congo genetics. Bushweed and Kangativa have grown some of the most impressive outdoor plants I've seen, some trippy thai's and colombians.

16/8 just to be safe, pre flower a seed and you're fucked lol it'll take forever to get back to normal growth, it bloody sucks man especially when you've put effort into 10 or so and they pre flower. Definitely will have the best around if the season's algood. Yeah liquid nutrients are a pain in the ass outdoor and you leave more tracks cause you have to keep feeding it, yeah bat guano is the shit(lol) you can get it off Amazon or ebay.
Sun leaves or Earth Juice are the best quality brands I think.

Panama DC looks like the best quality weed possible https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=210689 check the thread out all the way through. Man that PP is definitely a must grow strain, out of it how they're regular seeds but no one seems to get males at all, pretty much fem seeds but not haha. I think most of the Deep Chunk phenos turns purple? apparently it's real slow and low yielding in pure form but really shines in crosses. Pretty sure the purple comes out in the PDC a bit from the pics I've seen but probably more chance with the regular because the DC was the male and in the fem it was a reversed Panama as the 'male'. pretty sure the males dominate the cross more. Yeah I need a tolerance break so bad but it's so hard!, yeah cheers they look alright for the horrendous april and looks to be gaining frost. might harvest most of it around the 20th and leave some on and see what happens, no purple on it at all.
I think scrubdog might have 1 or 2 left, I'll probably be the only one with an outdoor plant in the 20th. Still getting 18+ degrees in the day and only going between 8-13 overnight.

Yeah I'm keen for a happy high, sick of these heavy indica like highs. I've got some Orient Express vegging that's supposed to be a clear up happy high. I had a Blue Hash from dinafem that was definitely a blueberry smell with hash undertones but the Blue og was purely a kush.
Was the Kushberry stretchy? sounds like you might have a BB pheno.

I swear every harvest it rains with ridiculous humidity, well the last 3 harvests have been like that.

Yea the kushberry is indica dom whereas the s&s is sativa dom. It was pretty squat throughout veg. I gave my sister some of the kushberry and sage and sour and she didn't even like the kushberry. I don't mind the high though but i guess some people do.

its dream beaver by bodhi and if you act quick you can still get some but he has lost the father of this strain so what stock is left out there is all that ever will be made. i would consider this strain a game changer and i will definitely be breeding with both my keeper male and my 2 keeper females

Yea defiantly a green house is the way to go. The Bangi haze sounds like itl be good for getting shit done. I see ace is giving away x5 free regular bangi haze seeds with any seed pack purchased from Ace :) Agreed bro Bushweed and Kangativa have some very fine plants. Monster sativas!

16/8 sounds algood to me, I don't wanna flower them accidentally to early, I bet thatd piss you of lol Liquid nutes are Defiantly a pain! Digging the Guano/shit joke hahahah Sounds like the "shit"
and I think i know what im gonna use there is a good selection of vegging guano and the one you have here:
http://www.planetnatural.com/product-category/organic-gardening/organic-fertilizers/seabird-bat-guano/

Im going to use one of these for veg.
http://www.planetnatural.com/product/super-nitro-bat-guano/
http://www.planetnatural.com/product/nitro-bat-guano/
http://www.planetnatural.com/product/dr-earth-bat-guano/

And for flower
http://www.planetnatural.com/product/jamaican-bat-guano/ - With potash.

Shot for that link bro that was a good read. The Panama DC does look really killer. Yeah the PP is the most out of it looking plant. The names cool it just kinda rolls of the tongue
Well if that Deep chunk shines in crosses id imagine it will go hand in hand with Panama. What is Deep chunks genetics? I think most of the Deep chunck goes purple. Maybe itl have hints of purple if it gets cold enough down here latter in the season. The weathers pretty bad now ae, down here its getting freezing at night, a Malawi wouldn't stand a chance down here in this season.
Seems like your getting som alright temps for this time of year considering the shit season. Yeah I think scrub has a few plants left, he seems to put alot of work in but doesn't get alot due to the weather. Poor fella lol

Gonna place my order latter. 1 Canna Taskenti, 2 Canna Panama DC (One to exchange), 2 Ace Panama and 2 Barneys farm lsd, all of which are fem.

Also the order comes with: 1 x World Of Seeds Strawberry Blue FEMINISED SEED, 2 x Delicious Cotton Candy FEMINISED SEEDS, 5 x Hawaiian Skunk Haze REGULAR SEEDS.

I'd get a greenhouse if I didn't have neighbours behind me(high up and can see my lawn) and grow stealth sativas like Malawi that don't smell too much. Panama on the other hand is quite skunky for a pure sativa. Shit that's pretty good, dunno if Ace ships to NZ? definitely on my to grow list. We could easily grow sativas like that if it were legal I reckon or if i had private land to grow on.

Yeah 16/8 should be algood for early november, I'd go 15/9 if I was to put them out really early. It sucks so bad when they flower early, if they were clones I'd just rip them out and replace em, seeds are far less likely though because it takes a month to be able to flower and by then the weather is usually sweet as. Haha yeah man bat guano is the good shit for Marijuana plants, brings out the pure organic flavour and high. That dr earth bat guano looks the go bro and definitely the Jamaican one, I think Mohican uses that one.

Algood, yeah it look like some of the best looking bud I've seen especially that plant Friend had. Looks so goddamn good!.
Someone made a Taskenti x PP and looked soo bloody nice! big fat purple colas, yeah peyote purple is a cool name like Mullumbimby Madness haha. Deep Chunk's a pure inbred Afghani - that's why I've been going on about it because it's a landrace!. Afghanica genotype too so it won't grow any taller than 4-5 ft usually, real slow inbred growing traits but make an f1 and it's as vigorous as anything, PDC is fast growing.
Yeah I saw you guys had real cold temps lately on metservice, I could give you a Malawi Gold or some other African sativas to try out next season to test your climate lol. May hasn't actually been too bad so far, at least we're getting sun most days and looks to be fine for the next week - might harvest the Malawi next week sometime when it turns bad. The people on the GHS expedition harvests theirs on the 20th of May.

The order sounds primo bro, I'm growing that Cotton Candy at the moment and is pretty killer - I had a really good pheno last year from a different seed, sweet musky smelling buds that were chunky. The one now is more of a extreme lemon skunky smell that stinks the room/place up way too much! it stretches quite a bit(300%) and will perform and yield outrageously outside. Cheers for getting a PDC bro, bloody legend!.
