KIAORA...Interesting grow man. Have you ever heard of that company called KIWI seeds? They're now located in Amsterdam I think - if not somewhere in europe. I was wondering if anyone who is in New Zealand has ever grown them? I miss going to New Zealand. Have you seen that movie called Tracker? Tameura Morrison and the other guy were frikin awesome! Movie takes place in New Zealand is why I mention it. Then there's the marijuana classic - scarfies... hearing from kiwi's brings me down memory lane. Cool as man. Thanks for posting this thread!

Their strains look killer but expensive, I think a lot of their strains were aclimated local varieties. Man i want Rays choice (15%afghani x 85% nz bush sativa). The sativas we had back in the 80's and 90's were killer as but sadly stupid dutch indicas ruined our outdoor scene (for the most part).
IMG-20130820-00040.jpgIMG-20130820-00041.jpg heres some te puke bush i got recently, no bad at all. the guys grow around a 100 lbs a season.
One day i want to breed out rays choice to the very sativa phenotypes and spread them around nz to restore kick ass quality original nz bush sativas.

yer not in Guatamala now, Dr.Ruapata! haha good shit bro, good shit. what's yer biggest pest, possums? after that I bet it's a race to the finish against weather. where do you rate some of enzed's better growing? I bet around Nelson is pretty good, anywhere on the east side of the alps on the south island, and on the north island I bet the coromandel is just titties!

Possums are our worst enemy, 10 of my affies this season got eaten by them. Kauwerau/ rotorua, whakatane have a longer season than most, i live in tauranga and we get 17-20 highs for the first 2 weeks of may then the season finishes, tauranga-auckland-northland is basically sativaland because of the rain and extended seasons compared to south island/ lower north island. this season im growing a pretty much water resistant malawi from ace seeds (someone claimed they were thriving with 100ml+ rain a day!). I really want to get my hands on a Te kakariki northland strain thats won the auckland cannabis cup a lot. I love local nz ganja.

Sounds like you are from my old stomping ground being central north island. just getting back into it but keeping it indoor. got my seeds from herbies too! (no luck from attitude). I grew afghani and northern lights #5 for ages (started in 94), occasionally outdoors. Good luck this season bro, those plant numbers and yields are crazy!
man thats awesome, how do you make sure they get enough water? planting by a lake in wet soil or something?

Nz grows are guerilla grows kept very low key due to the laws I personally dought our mate
Disappointed to not see the 80lb finished product at the end haha
lol eighty I was waiting to see as well
