Hello everyone... Like I said I'm new to this site. LOL this is actually my first day. But ok let me get down to business...

For a while now I've been thinking about growing. Been doing a little research here and there. But i was really interested in starting up with an aero garden. Is this a good choice for a first timer? What model works best? What nutrients working best for this application? Would using an aero garden be considered hydroponic growing?

Lol i got so many questions.. i know i should have probably read everything thats been posted so far but i just cant wait to do this.

I haven't invested any money into it yet cause i'd rather build from expert experience and advice. Thank you for your time. Any help would be appreciated. Peace out

Do you plan on a DIY system? or a Kit? Hydro or Soil? How much money can you spend? $50 or $250 ? Do you have a closet or room to grow in?
And welcome to RIU.

Honestly I was leaning more towards the aero garden. Since it fits my situation better. No privacy and not much space. theres a space I can dedicate towards this thats about 4 ft tall 3 ft deep and like 5 to 6 ft long. umm i was plannin on spending watever the garden costs and for materials? so i guess like 400-500??

Hmm bubbleponics?? im gonna have to look into that i never heard of it. you get good yeild??

Alot of newbies get BUBBLER and BUBBLEPONICS confused or mixed.

A bubbler is simply a DWC with airtsones in it.

Bubbleponics is a system of delivering Oxygen, Water and Nutrients to each cube, via a underwater pump and an irrigation hub with tubes running to each grow-cup and rockwool cube. You actually see BUBBLES in the tubes.

See here:
Introducing BUBBLEPONICS™, taking aeroponics to the next level...

Bubbleponics™ is the art of delivering highly oxygenated nutrient solution DIRECTLY to the inner root zone. The days of merely misting the outer roots with nutrient spray are over. Gone too are the days of over/under watering, over/under feeding; the Stealth Hydro bubbleponic system automatically maintains the ideal oxygen level of the nutrient solution so as to facilitate a healthy thriving root system.

The results is an amazing rapid growth during the first few weeks, before the roots even hit the deep water.

I bought one kit for $179 in Dec 2006, and added a 2nd the next year. Every year I added more bulbs.

If you can read, you can do it. You can learn to DIY, and build one, but the round holes are trick and you stil have to buy the irrigation hub and tubes and pumps.
