ok so i have three plants about 2 weeks old now and they are only an inch&half now not very big so i have heard.. but anyways i have the three plants in jiffy cups with miracle grow seed starting potting soil as my medium. i am using 4 cfl daylight 26 watt bulbs(i know that's not enough but enough for now) i have 3 bulbs directly ontop and one to the side of the plants. i just looked at one plant and one has yellow spots and the two leaves r curling up.. the other two seem fine and are pretty green with no discoloration. can someone answer this? also i just checked the ph level for the first time since i have planted and it read 7.0 on the dot. does the ph need to be a little lower or is that fine? next should i water everyday or every other day? i am using 18/6 cycle so will that effect the watering cycle? and when should i give the plants nuts? every 3rd watering or what? i am using mircale grow 30-10-10 fert. is this the best one, or is their something better for vegging. i know they need lots of nitorgen and this is dif rich in nitrogen. and also would anybody reccomend mircale grow organic potting soil when i transplant? and if so what fert should i use when i do the transplant? thanks and please somebody answer because i am trying to educate myself as much as possible and really trying to make this successful

alright your doin good for the most part dont worry about nitrogen and PH levels unless your growin a fuckin farm and your a major supplier. first thing, if ur gonna use lighting which i wouldnt suggest use compact florescent light bulbs and quite a few of em . you can never use to many. dont have the light that close either thats why there so small, have it 18-20 in. away from the plant . the 18/6 is good but i would just have them outside. the only thing u gotta worry about with this are cops or little fuckers takin em. only water em if the soil is dried up otherwise they dont need it . i think the yellow spots means it doesnt have enough nutrients but you'd have to plant problems to no for sure. after awile your gonna hav to look up how to no which one is male and female . this is very important it will fuck your whole crop up if u dont no. and if your gonna use lighting after they start budding u have to switch to 12/12

Wow dont listen to that guy, The plants are only an inch tall, They dont need nutes that early in their growth it will kill them hes already using miracal grow as he medium. 18-20 inches away?? put them like 5 inches away or less, 18-20 inches away will only make them reach for the light and be a stringy plant. ive always had got readings on PH when between 6.2 and 7 at the highest. I would wait till they are 3 weeks or so before transporting them It jst depends on how healthy the plant is and how big they are. Could be that you might have over water'd the plants becuase the MG releases the nutes and if over waterd it could have used to much nutes which could cause the yellow spots.

What else would you use ... moon beams

Mr.Marijuana you have obviously never grown a MJ plant. Why would you give anyone such bad advice?

Anyways your soil may be hot for babies (lots of nutes). I'm not a MG fan (organics is my game) but anyways you don't need to give them any nutes right now. My best advice is to read the forums and only take advice from people who actually grow.I veg with CFL's and I get them as close as possable to the plant without burning them. Good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of growing. It's a very hearty plant and I've found it hard to kill em.

just don't over water or over fert have enough lights and proper air flow and exhaust and you will do just fine. good luck

I would start off using a little bit Dont want to over do it and have a low ph level, I would start off using 1-2tbl spoons full PER gallon to see if that works out..
