Hi all

This is my first post , i recently planted some seeds im not even entirely sure what they are , by no means do i have a clue what im doing but i just thought i would share cpl of pics of what's come of them .
The seeds i found just in a 8th bag had no idea if anything would come of them but now it has im clueless as what to do next im not expecting to gain anything smokeable from these seeds and just wondered if anybody had any ideas i mean , can i put them out in the in laws garden ? Just for decoration ??
ive got another 20 or so seeds that ive not planted will be over run with plants that have no use , apart from looking pretty of course :-P

Cheers

sorry about the giant picture .. still learning .

im a newbie here too but one thing i know already - dont plant more than 1 plant per pot... better re-pot asap before roots get mixed in together and you could loose the lot but they look healthy and should if you provide the right lights, nutes and ventilation etc a smokeable buds...

as to variety - i think all plants start out looking like yours -- too early to tell... good luck..

Cheers for the reply , i was thinking about repotting them as i had literally just thrown them in a pot all together ive been watering them everyday and just pretty much left them on a windowsill im not in a finacial postition to start buying expensive lights and things and i dont have the room , but was very excited when they started to grow , everybody keeps calling me a geek but i feel like ive given birth all over again :-)

Im no way able to buy expensive stuff either - look at my thread - the whole growroom cost less than $350 to set up completely..

Looking good , gives a good idea of what can be achieved thanks for the link , im still readin up on here about the whole growing process , all seems so difficult and tricky to get right but reading other threads on the forums i think this site explains it all pretty well in plain ol english .
Will get some pots today and try go from there , your little grow room looks great small and compact deffo got a few ideas flowing , some of the pics ive seen on here of grow rooms just blow my mind but others have been where i am right now and not had a clue .

yeah some grow rooms are for dealers etc - i grow for me... it took me lots of research and reading and searching out advice.. but im happy to help all i can.. my biggest expense was the canna terra grow medium for $50.. rest was all below that... it can be done on the cheap.. im very much for one to do things on the cheap - if i can build it cheaper why pay hundreds to get one ready made... when i can get it done for $60...

Yeah i agree , and it may sound silly but i got a 2 yr old daughter and spoiling her takes up most of my money , But thats kids i guess .
im thinking of just having this as a little hobby and collect as i go along , will look into some nutrients today im not sure if the names are the same over here in the uk , but bit of research should help me find what im looking for .
Just intrigued as to what each day will bring , these are about a week old and im still in shock that they have started growing at all !

I don't think you should really just put them outside in the garden for decoration unless you're no one is ever gonna see it! It is still illegal to grow regardless of what the purpose (as in even if you don't flower it or intend to) You can do yourself a nice cheap grow, obviously the massive setups with big lights and stuff gives you faster better growth, but if you're not fussed on time and yield you can keep it really simple and be successful. You should definitely get them into their own pots. For nutes, we use BioBizz which starts at £5.50 for 500 ml and it gets diluted so a little goes a long way. If your in laws have a garden maybe they already use some things you could use for these? You can do your own soil mix and include things like blood/bean meal, wood ash, worm castings, eggshells, etc etc

Oh and stop by the UK Growers thread, nice place to chat to get people who have the same shops and brands

You probably won't find it in a garden center, I ordered mine from hydrohobby.co.uk There are lots of different nutrients you can use though and things you can mix into the soil

Well its been quite a while since i posted had few probs getting online , but heres a pic of how the plant is doing , ive given a few away and have 3 now 1 of which is growing very well , and really starting to smell the other is slightly smaller but doing good and the 3rd seems to have stopped growing completley altho its still alive , so im not sure whats going on with that one , i had a problem with which i thought was drought , leaves turning brown then dropping off but these were always the bottom leaves of each plant , this seems to have calmed down a bit now and as advised i am watering them from underneath , no lights or anything and they are still on the kitchen window sill , window is open has nice breeze coming thru and the stems seem to be quite strong , not really sure where to go from here i will repot and continue to feed and water as i have been doing , still not sure if these plants will produce anything worthy but its been a pretty good learning experience so far ...... and one ive quite enjoyed
