I planted several seeds in the second week of May (I live in California). I have no idea what I am doing nor what strains I am growing. One of the plants is covered in Pink Hairs... I have never seen anything like it before... Very weird, but absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! (See picture)... If possible, please help me to figure out what strains these are...

I have several different strains growing... Listed are the strains I am curious about... I have a few pictures... I will take more tomorrow...

1. Very sticky, dense, and smells fruity... Almost like cereal..IMG_0947.jpg

2. Very sticky, dense, and smells piney...IMG_0949.jpg

3. Planted the same time as all of the others... But just started flowering... I have done nothing different with this plant.. (Picture coming tomorrow)

4. Pink hairs, barely starting to crystallize, doesn't really have a smell yet...IMG_0946.jpg

Impossible to say. But there mostly sativa so you got long flower. First has purp in it so maybe purple Erkle. 2nd maybe NL. 3rd looks like some sort of mist or haze. Best I can do.

If you had these pics studied by Ed Rosenthal, Jorge Cervantes, and Danny Danko they collectively could not say with any degree of certainty what strain any plant is. In other words don't sweat what it is...as long as it is GOOD! I do agree on the Sativa thing though as far as what type of sativa no one can say.

Great job for someone who knows nothing though...+REP!

I do not think #1 is Purple Urkle... I was thinking it may be Bubba Kush or something like it... #2 I am thinking NL as well... #3 After doing a little research... I suspect that it may possibly be a Pink Hair Pheno?

Thanks for the support! I have been educating myself as I go lol... I started these all from seeds and planted them outdoors... Most of them are well over 6' tall... They are all organically grown... I made my own mulch (chicken crap, watermelon, bananas, twigs, leaves, egg shells, etc.), my own bug spray, flowering nutrients, etc....

Just name em yourself .. Roberto #1 ..
Lol... I had already planned on it... #1 is called MRMR (Mentally retarded monkey raper)... Because that's how I felt after eating the oil/butter I made from the trimmings... :bigjoint:

#3 The pink one... I decided to call BBKF (Boo-Boo Kitty F**K)... ^_^

Unknown... Just started budding 2 weeks or so ago... I noticed something that looks like a seed pod on it today... But not quite the same... What is it? (Look just above big leaf... Looks almost like a seed pod but has hairs growing out of it)IMG_0980.jpg

Northern Lights? (This one appears to be almost ready... Am I right? Estimated guess as to how much longer?)

Notice how close I planted all of the seeds! Rookie Mistake! I planted around 20 of them in the same hole! LMAO!!!!! I had to stretch/tie almost every branch... of every plant... so light would penetrate!!! Lol... I ended up digging a ditch around the plants to help the roots spread out so they wouldn't get choked out...

I noticed A LOT of peoples plants, during this stage in growth, their leaves start turning yellow and dying... None of my plants have any yellowing at all (Well maybe just a couple of leaves)... Am I doing something wrong?

I also noticed that my leaves & buds on the Northern Lights plant (don't know if this is really a NL plant.. But that's what I have been calling it lol) are light green... Do you think I have a Mag deficiency... Nitrogen... Or maybe it's just the strain...?

All the Nuts have been organic throughout plant life... Currently, I am only using Molasses and well water... Do I still need to flush plants when using Molasses? Doesn't seem to me that there would be any need too....

Does the plant look healthy? Am I in need of any nuts?

BTW... I have never, EVER, checked the PH of my water... lol... It's well water... Do I still need to? lol

keep doing....exactly what you're doing! (except the planting multiple seeds in the same place haha!) you're shit looks amazing and deffinatly keep a keen eye on the trichrome coloration change the next couple of weeks. you're doing fine with flushing with just water and molasses. you're in the final stretch!!!! be sure to read up on drying and curing here...it would be a shame if all that beautiful herb didn't get the perfect cure it deserves....and you deserve! nice grow my friend...very nice!:weed:

Thanks a million Birdman!

During the entire grow I didn't have a worry in the world... Now that it's almost time to harvest... I am getting nervous and EXTREMELY impatient! lol

Yeah... I will never grow multiple seeds in the same hole again! lol... I had to tie every branch... And trim the living hell out of the plants... Furthermore, believe it or not... I had to manipulate a few of the plants so much... They turned into vines lol... One of the plants is pretty much resting on the ground all stretched out...

For drying... I plan on hanging the entire plant upside down in my barn... after trimming some leaves so they don't stick to the bud. That is, if all of the buds on the plant ripen at the same time...

As far as curing... I am going to have to read up on it some more... I have been learning as I go along... lol
