Thank you. I think I had seen a similar chart somewhere else. My situation was very odd. Had signs of N deficiency and N tox. Very weird
I had a similar situation, but I don't know if it's the same thing. I was giving them plenty of food but they were showing a N deficiency. It ended up being that my pH was too low and I was locking out the N. I was in the low fives due to an uncalibrated pH meter. In flower you can run your pH higher like closer to 6.0 - 6.2

If anyone was wondering the progress of these girls. Going into week 7 in a few days and they're growing :) the ones that had a crazy claw never went back to normal but have been growing, BUT haven't been producing many trichomes I have a total of 7 little to none trichomed plants. The rest are good. I'd like to think at least since it's only my second grow lol. Here are some pics

Also. What are your thoughts on defoliation? I'm all ears guys. Thanks!!

did you ever end up finding out what the exact problem was originally or did the problem just end up fixing itself?

There's barely any on the ones that were damaged with the clawing leaf. I'll take a few pics so you guys can see.

I'd like to think I did. The guy who helped me set up told me to turn my lights down to 600 and slowly bring them back up over the next couple weeks. He said it was light stress. Going from a veg room with 2 lights at 1000 and then moving them to a room with 8 lights at 1000, he said it just shocked the plants. About 32 plants got bad and after I turned the lights down, about 25 recovered.

Here are a couple pics of the ones growing but not really pumping out any trichomes. Only a few of them are like this. Very strange.

there is more trikes on the leaf then the bud lol, do you have a scope to see if there is any trikes?

Light stress. Shocking them going from a room being 2k to 8k.
Your buds look very nice. Maybe a little strong on the nutes.

As for the "light stress"-----I'd be surprised if the curl was caused by moving from 2K veg to 8K flowering.

I say that because I never experienced that going from 2K veg to 6K flowering.

Anyway, looks like some good smoke.

I have done the water thing also personally I like the 5 gal. Dwc buckets reason being if a plant cuts up you can deal with that plant individually and not worrying about the others at the same time , unless you running one particular strain if you running different strains educate yourself on eeach one (research that strain ) some do good in water some dont I now have a 4x4 organic bed with a 1000hps over it and also have two 31/2feet tall plants in dwc with a 1000hps over it liking the bed action lol, but will always have my dwc somewhere lol peace

Sorry about the pics im learning lol im old school but the big one. Is the raw diesel 3 1/2 wks flowering dwc, the red cups are clones of red hair skunk, Alien Matter f2s, the green pots are Cookies f1s, my cross of Pineapple Express (G13 labs) x Cookiesf1s, got some others in the making well rather experimenting with trying to find a good pheno lol

Just my .02 as a hydro noob myself.

Over water = lack of oxygen. I chose to not use a bucket system because there is always some water left behind in bucket. Could be that the roots are using up all the oxygen in that water between watering making it look like it's a over watering problem when it could just be a lack of oxygen. May need to water more often to keep the bottom of the bucket oxygenated?

Do your RW cubes get wet during the water cycle? If so, then it could be compounding the problem of actually over watering and lack of oxygen. I keep the RW cubes around 3/8 - 1/2" above top water line to keep the cubes dry.

Toxic levels of nutes, or nutrient lockout? 6.0 is a bit high PH for hydro. It won't allow some stuff that the plant can get with a lower PH. One problem I'm having is snot algae in my rez'. At first I panicked, and did everything to get rid of it. Since then I've come to terms with it, and I think it may actually be benefiting me to some extent. It gets the PH rising after a couple days after my H2o2 dose. So I set the PH below 5.8, to around 5.5-5.6 and let it drift up to 6.0 before adding PH Down. This way the plants on day 1 get more nutes that it can absorb with a more acidic ph, and by day 3 or 4 they are easily getting nutes it can take readily closer to a neutral PH. Maybe try fluctuating your PH up and down to see if a nutrient lockout is happening. Or just set it at 5.6 for a few days, then raise it to 5.8.

Man, I can't even get threw the list of stuff you're using for nutes. Looks like a lot of work measuring it all up. I'm using Canna because I know the manufacturer does a good job of putting everything it it for me. Everything the plant needs is in it, so if I get what looks like a deficiency, I kook elsewhere [like PH and lockout] knowing that all the stuff is in the mix I buy. Less of a chance I can fuct it up. Maybe try changing nutes for a while and see if it clears up?

Good luck! It's a real bummer to see plants having problems, especially after doing so much work to try and keep them happy and healthy.
