An update on the progress of Area 51:

The pedestal upgrade is complete and the service upgrade is being worked on.

There is no power to my house right now because the electricians are waiting for an inspection before turning the power back on.

I will be marking outlet locations tomorrow.

I anticipate everything being completed by next week. Getting closer! We'll see.

My plants are looking healthy. They perked up after the power was cut today and it makes me wonder if I had the light on a schedule or just on. I will say the AC Infinity controller that comes with the Ionframe lights is a little confusing in this regard.

I will probably transplant them to their final containers in two weeks. If they are not big enough it could be longer. I'm hoping for longer so that I can test out the easy2grow. I will be turning that on Friday or Saturday.

I ordered the Hash Makers Delight Pheno Hunt Box from exotic genetix for my next run. I will clone these current strains as well to keep as moms. I think when I get going with the perpetual cycle I will want to keep moms from at least my top three phenos at all times. A lot can change between now and then though and it comes down to space in Area 51 and it's tents.

The flower area in Area 51 will be in open space with the veg plants being inside a tent. With all the stuff in there I am a little concerned about light leaks inside the garage. Another partition inside Area 51 could've solved this concern, but I was against the idea of another wall being built. Maybe down the line.

The plants are continuing to look healthier.

The power to my house will be turned back on tomorrow.

I am planning on giving these plants one more top watering before turning on the easy2grow sometime this weekend.

I moved my plants to the spare room so that they may get some light tomorrow morning because the power is still out. I had to throw out a ton of prepared meals from my fridge, it was ugly.

The plants are now topped and tagged.

The plants were praying hard when I woke up this morning. They are looking great in veg. Shout out to Beanstalk so far so good.

The garage will be done next week!

Lowtempindustires had a good deal on the medium pharmaceutical freeze dryer so I copped it.

It ships right away and should be here in a couple weeks.

Lets talk goals for Area 51. I will be running 960w of lights for the flowers. I am aiming for a gram per watt, but I will be happy with anything over 0.8 gpw. If I hit 0.8 gpw, that is 768 grams of dried flower. However, everything for the most part is going towards live rosin, and will be frozen wet after harvest. Using a general rule of five grams wet for one gram dry, this is 3,840 grams of fresh frozen. Although the Spritzer x BA is said to wash fresh frozen to live rosin at 6%, I will aim for half that. When all said and done, my goal for each flower run is 4 ounces of live rosin. If I really have things dialed and it washes at 6% like advertised, it could end up being a pound of live rosin each run, which would be sweet. That is assuming a 1.6 gpw yield and 6% to live rosin. I hope to keep things going perpetually, so I am aiming to harvest every 72 days. To do this I will need to transplant the vegetative plants within a day ow two of harvest and then veg for two to three weeks. I will chop my plants no later than 8 weeks into 12/12, but I am looking to see trichomes of all three types and that will tell me it is time to harvest.

I forgot to mention that this will be a sealed room and I will be supplementing CO2 in the grow with a Mother Nature CO2 generator bucket that I got along with the autopots.

Please tune in and feel free to comment in here if you have any questions or constructive advice.
I want to say with all things considered I really want to hit 6700 g fresh frozen with these four plants. That's roughly 12 ounces dry per plant. Don't let me down Beanstalk!

My savings are depleted but I got pretty much everything I need for my little hobby. The only thing left is a co2 tank, some cloning supplies and medium I believe.

My gear is as follows:

For clones/seedlings
- 4x1 grow tent chamber
- 60w lm301h Evo light bar
- clip on oscillating fan

For veg
- 4x4 grow tent chamber
- easy2grow 6 pot 2.2 gallon
- 12 gallon reservoir
- cloudforge humidifier
- Evo 4 300w lm301h Evo grow light
- clip on oscillating fan

For bloom
- autopot xxl 6 pot 13 gallon
- 25 gallon reservoir
- vellgoo dehumidifier
- 3x Evo 3 280w lm301h Evo grow lights
- 2x 60w lm301h Evo light bars
- 4x 10w (?) uva light bars
- supplemental co2
- co2 monitor
- 2x 16" wall fans

For hash
- medium pharmaceutical freeze dryer
- 12 ton rosin press
- hand pump with gauge
- 220 micron 32 gallon wash bag
- 190, 120, 74, 45 micron 5 gallon wash bags
- 25 micron 3"x6" filter bags
- 2x 32 gallon trash cans
- various 5 gallon buckets

I may be forgetting some stuff but that is most of it at least.

The I Love Pheno Hunts Box (Hasher's Delight) came in today. I'm excited to grow these strains over the next year. The Blueberry Bang Bang only had 200 packs made and I am hyped to grow that as it may become a signature strain for me.

Hello all!

Sorry for the radio silence. While the power was out at my house, all my plants died. I have since planted more plants.

I have 3 Lusty Lady and 3 Blueberry Bang Bang (all feminized).

The garage should be completed on November 3rd. I've been saying this for a while and it keeps getting delayed so we shall see.

Hello again,

I transplanted the final Lusty Lady into its veg pot and watered each plant through with about 2L of pH'd water. I then filled up the easy2grow reservoir and pH'd it around 5.8. I turned on the easy2grow and allowed the base of each plant to fill with water. The plants should water themselves from here out.

The way the autopot/easy2grow works is by valve. The base of each plant fills with water and is sucked up by the medium. The valve will allow water in until the base is full and then it will shut until it is empty. This allows each plant to drink at its own pace and conserves water because the plant drinks 100% of the water it is given. All you have to do is fill and pH the water in the reservoir. With Beanstalk CRF, all the nutrients the plant will need are in the medium and very little to no additives are needed.

The temperature of my grow tent is 23.5⁰C and the humidity is at 58%.

The growth from here on out will be explosive.

I'm not too sure if the autopots are working but the plants are looking good and have been growing a lot.

Here's a shot from today:

And three days ago:

It might be about the time to begin the training process. I'm going to top them and do a minor defoliation on some of the more crowded plants.

Topped and a slight defoliation.

They look a little smaller now without their giant fan leaves. The plant health is good.

The plants got even bigger haircuts this time.

I am beginning to notice deficiency in some plants. The pH was 6.5 in the reservoir so i corrected that back to 5.9. Also I noticed that my autopots are not draining but rather the plants just soaking in a bath. To fix this, I have turned the reservoir off and, once the water is gone, I will clean and reseat the valve which should solve the problem. Hopefully the plants will recover pretty quickly once both those issues have been corrected.

The a/c was installed in the garage today. Everything is almost ready to go except the paint, wall, and door way. I expect Area 51 to be completely ready to go by next week.

Moving right along.

I'm still having issues with the aquavalves, so I've been opening the res when the water is running dry. The plants are still looking great.
