New experiments and question(coconut butter,ticture,bubblehash,honey,alcohol).

So I have been experimenting with making edibles for over a year now. Listing the things I found that worked and ones that didn't work out too well.

The Good
1.Found that soaking bud in water works to clear out the chlorophyll ending up with a clearer butter.
2.You can use the wet shake you have ran in bubble bags and make butter out of it. Just fill crockpot with shake put 2 cups of butter add water till its saturated. Cook for at least 6 hours (best to buy big crock pot....using a small one have to cook it in sections.)
3.Coconut oil smells ALOT less and doesn't leave a weed taste.

The Bad
1. Putting a shot of alcohol in crock pot makes the butter very green...seems to have helped extract more chlorophyll than thc...(also want to know if when i add alcohol i need to cut the cook time in half.)
2.Not able to gauge dosages when making butter out of wet shake. Sometimes having to eat more than 2 hand size cookies.
3.Noticing no difference between 6 hour and 24 hour crock pot edibles.

What I am trying to figure out is how to cut down how much I have to eat...as much as i like eating cookies a whole one everyday is starting to take its toll.

Questions

1.Does anyone know how many mg of thc can be absorbed in 1 stick of butter/1oz of everclear? Can't seem to find scientific information online..Just some people saying they can fit 5g of bubble hash into 1oz of glycerine or alcohol. I think one called for 90g to 12oz of glycerine. My ballpark guess is if im using bud with 10% thc then it should have 100 mg/thc for every 1 gram of bud. So if I want to make a 1000mg edible i need to use 10g of shake for 1 cookie. Also have had my hash tested before and it is around 20-30%.

2.Has anyone experienced a point where cooking the butter too long actually made it weaker? From the reference below THC converts into CBN faster than THCA converts into THC which means there has to be a sweet spot. Maybe 1-2 hours?

Main question of why im here 3, Looking at making hash infused honey by making green dragon then boiling that down into honey. I wonder when i boil out the alcohol is there nothing for the thc to bond to?

I think the problem is the shake I am using is not the best of quality and in order to compensate i tried cooking it longer in the crock pot leading to THCA-THC-CBN conversion instead of THCA=THC. Right now trying boiling butter i already made again in more shake but only for a couple hours. Will give results tonight or tomorrow.

I know this is a overwhelming amount of questions but I am willing to trade information in order to get a more definitive result. Thanks

Saturation point in ever clear
27.4 mg/ml thc in 95%etoh
You could estimate 20mg per for coconut oil .
Now you want glycerin too? Bro work the Google. It holds about 30% of its weight in hash/cannabinoids and what else comes with

2.yes any amount of time in the crockpot is degrading your product. We decarb hash over a double boiler and then saturate the intended carrier
Yea hash doesn't dissolve in honey very well..at all

Chill with the cbn talk....relatively little will be produced. No more than a few percent. Delta 8 etc are the main products. CBN starts to rapidly form over about 400° and more with oxidation.
Also I don't think I've seen anyone post accurate graphs of the decarb. They are out there though..just not skunkpharms lol
