Thoughts on a twist to cannabutter

Not sure if it has any feasibility or any benefits but here is my line of thought:
speed up the absorption of terps & cannabinoids to the melted butter while limiting the chlorophyll, other fatty acids and undesirable plant matter.

My basic question would be could I do something like an RSO alcohol wash prior to the butter bath? Like what happens to butter when ever clear is introduced?

This all came about because I really like strain specific cannabutter probably more so than I like RSO cannabutter. But I don't care for the plant taste I get with flower made cannabutter. I use water when making my butter and flower now to limit the taste and plant material it works well but still a bit "gaggy" at high doses (while 8 need to feel). My water looks like really nasty bong water. drain that off scrape the brown "dirt" and the left butter it's horrible but I think it can be better yet.My thought was if I have my dry flower and I put it in a mason jar and maybe 2 oz or 4 oz of everclear to the jar shake up the jar and then use that and add it to my melted butter. Then my hope would be to only simmer my butter for 40 minutes to an hour and still get the same effect I would if I had simmered to butter for 4 hours. The everclear should evap in that hour maybe? Maybe someone here knows before I f up 9 grams. I hope my questions and thoughts here are clear I had to use voice to text

I just finished my regularly made but I cut my butter to 1\4 cup and flower to 9 grams. We'll see I need a super super high dose any more

Freeze the everclear and bud overnight, then do a quick wash by mixing them, give a few light shakes, and let sit for 10 minutes or so, strain out the bud, then evaporate the everclear off however. Do it in a well ventilated area or outside, the fumes are explosive if heated and contained. Once evaporated out, the remaining oil can be mixed with butter, put in drinks, dropped under the tongue, whatever you want. If not heating again make sure to decarb the bud first.

You may want to check the link in my signature. Most of that other stuff has been played with for years. This is something new. I'm changing to it on my next RSO run.

Yo, just checked out that site for a quick minute! 79% increase by adding distilled water, what the what! I'm doing it next go round now too!

I'm going to follow that article to the letter on my next go-around. When I make my RSO at home I use everclear and I decarb first. So the whole process will be new to me but worth a shot for sure!
Maybe I should use my harvest, only 2nd week of cure

Keep up posted. I will be at least another week before I can even start to get ready to do it. First in line of things to do is fix the leak in my hot tub. For me, that tub is one of the things that going. The thing weighs almost 900 pounds empty and I had it up on blocks twice now. Got a clamp on the leak and it's getting let down. I sure hope it's fixed this time.

This way of making RSO sounds very good. Before I decided to try it I read a lot of comments form people that have tried it. I'll follow their guideline but for me it's a lab project instead of kitchen. I'm very lucky to have a home lab. It's not a whole lot, but I set it up to make oil.

Ever Clear isn't that expensive when you can recover almost all of it. My runs are usually about 1/2 gallon of EC and I only lose about 4 ounces. Most of that is because it's to wet to distill anymore.
