Yessir, I think so in the spring/summer months, then just the opposite in the fall/winter. This leads me to think that an early flowering getaway strain in Maine would actually finish a tad earlier in southern latitudes. Getaway has grown his strains in both latitudes, so he could tell us if there was much different in finish date in Maine compared to Cali.

If my logic is correct, I would think the days would actually be slightly longer in the northern latitudes from late June, July, August and part of Sept because of the earth's curvature or am I wrong? Like the equator might get up to 13 hours light, 11 dark versus the poles where at the right time of year it's light or dark 24/7.
In sunny San diego, longest day is 14 hours and 20 minutes of sun

Never had a cam stolen? That's shocking. Get any animals on film?

Latitude and the effect on finish times is a good experiment. Always good to know when the ladies are gonna finish.

...but if the experiment is only done with a few plants it could lead to a false conclusion.

...If the strain has different pheno types and hasn't been stabilized, different finish times could occur randomly. Which might be more indicative of pheno variations rather than latitude causing the difference flowering times.

Clones from the same plant flowered in different latitudes might yield a more conclusive finding.

A friend has worked with hybrid crosses and had some pretty different smells, looks, structure and finish from girls all having the same parents. One Malawi cross from the same batch of seeds and 3 separate plants, had an August, September and an October finisher. Variety...the spice of life.

Nice work on the IA too. Saw the pics in another thread.
