New CFL Grow

Where in the hell am I? · Jan 14, 2009

Well, here I sit, just got done raising my lights for the second time since they turned on (less than 2 hours ago) Bugs are DEAD! Still, if anyone knows what they might have been, please let me know. I'm almost positive that they will rear their ugly little heads again for me to shmash!
Everything is still growing, filling out, looking great!
I might not be able to post for a couple of days. So, keep growin, and stay tuned . . .

Ty bro. Yep, they are all 23. Like I said, I added an additional 6-8 ( I don't remember which), when I put them all into flower. Plus, when I did that, I added the 1 light board going across the top.

Lol I am definately not bashing your grow, cuz it look great... BUT WHY ARE YOU USING 23 WATT CFLs? Are they alot cheaper than 32 watt or soemthing? Cuz the more lumens you get with CFL grows, then the faster everything grows...

btw u can flower with cfls but make sure you use warm white when you switch to 12/12 flowering.

lmao... tobacco smoke is supposed to be really bad for the plants, so I would think that is a bad idea. But if its workin for you then keep goin!

I got the 23W CFL's for $.050 each. Stil haven't found any cheaper.

Tobacco smoke IS a death sentence for plants, however, pot smoke is great for 'em :bigjoint:

So, today's day 16 of the flowering. I'm so pleased with the way the grow is looking so far, that it 'aint even funny!
My buds are swelling already, the pistil exploded all over so much the past 2 days, it proves Dog doesn't always hate me! :lol:

Bugs are gone and not missed. Yesterday and today watered the plants with clearex. I dont water the plants all on the same day 'cause so far they haven't all been thirsty on the same day. But I do make sure that they are all flushed every 2 weeks, hopin for some good taste.

Okay, day 18 of flower and its lookin like all is well! Just gonna post these pics and hope y'all are able to see @ least some of the cause of my happiness @ the moment :weed:

Buds continue to swell like hourly, it seems! Looks like the plants have finally stopped growing vertically. Still getting a little bushier daily, but I think even that should be slowed if not stopped.

Im pretty sure he has something like 30give or take a few. And the grow looks nice, thinking about taking your light setup because i've been lookin for one. so thanks and good luck

30 is alot bro, might as well be runnin HID's no? That's like 780 watts just for 26 watters. 23 watters are 680.
