New at bubbleponics, looking for advice

I did look around, but the thing is I did see any reviews of a decent meter. I can find a meter under 100 bucks all day, but is it reliable?

Yes they do offer diffrent light spectrums. here is the link http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=42&xSec=40

So I will try out these nutes, http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/product.php?xProd=4 as they are ph balanced and ind. packets.

So going with those lights I shown the link for above, how many you suggest? Two flowering dual spectrums II or even 4?

Remember its just for 4-6 plants in a closet with my current lights.

it is what I use from there,

Roseman your guide was quite strict on ph... With that being said, and looking up to you as a teacher, what can you recommend in my budget that will get the job done. As I read your madness when comparing 2 different meters. As well the different readings u get when turning on and off outside the water and inside and moving it in the water.

Growing would be much much easier without having to consider pH.

pH will vary .1 to .2 that is cooler or warmer, or moving or still. If it touched rubber or plastic, it wil be .1 to .2 lower. I just shoot for 5.9 or 6.0 and take anything within 5.5 and 6.5 as OK with me. I did about 5 or 6 grows with NO meter and just rest strips.

smartguy, today, knowing what I know, I'd use only two 5 gallon buckets, and get the lights at Home Depot or Lowes.

Ok so your saying to get 2 5 gallon totes. For a total of 6 plants or 4?

Then use the PH strip test, which I have been using.

And purchasing my flowering cfls at a local hardware store.

Sounds like a winner.

Now someone told me that I can get good results without the water pump pumping water right under the rockwool cube. They said with a good air pump, and air stones, that I can get the right amount that will suffice. they said just make sure that those net pots have a lilttle water touching it. That way moisture is getting wicked up. As well placing the rockwool cube right below middle level of net cup..

Well I currently in talks with a dude selling another 8 X 54w T5 setup. I am hoping that I could go with that and mix in 6500k and 2700k. as well going to my local hardware store and getting cfls. Right now I am currently out of a job, so money is kind of tight as of now. However I do have enough to get started and getting supplies as I come along. I will post a new link for my grow journal once I get it up. My first grow will be using shortryder seeds and possibly a few random good bag seeds as well.

I was thinking about incorporating a few strains with short ryder plants. As I do plan on sexing one to get more seeds as I here it is difficult to get clones out of em.
