Neighbor with the porchlight on

My Neighbor like to waste electricity so he leaves his back porchlight on ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Heres the question: Plants are flowering right now does the fact that his porchlight(prob 100w soft white bulb) is on all night affect the plants? The porchlight is about 50-60 feet away my plant is kinda tucked away behind a big bush where most of the plant is in darkness but some light still gets through. Should I move the plant or will it be ok, prob 1.5 wks left.

According to the inverse square law, the intensity of light radiating from a point source (in this case a bulb) is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source. So if an object is twice as far away, it receives only 1/4 the light.

probably doesnt even affect them bongsmilie

think about what your asking - if you grow indoors do u use a porch light ? no - you use a specific light that has a certain spectrum , security lights or any lights OTHER than horticultural lighting wont effect plants....

you will be fine its too far away to have any effect...besides you said you have 1.5 weeks left....if the light was causing any damage you should have known by now...
