Need your advice on the plots I desided on

Well went for my hike. On the way I found a 3rd site. Takes me about 45 min to get to the first site. And 25 to the last after that so about an hour non stop. Each have there pluses and draw backs. So tell me what would be best. I'm thinking 5 plants each but I'll let you tell me what you think. Keep in mind the photos are from erly in the morning and it's still wintery cold.

Site 1.
45 min hike.
Plus is water flows and has a pond if needed.
Draw back is it's a old farms watering hole. But out of the way. Couldn't see any sign of resent use. Cows and wild life use it for shade and water. And it's about 100 yards from a very old truck trail.






Site 2
Plus is it's way out of the way and absolutely no sign of human. Water can be collected as it comes from the side of the hill.
Down side is it's a tight canyon and wild life walks down the middle so everythig would need to be planted on hillside.





Site 3
Plus is it's large and very well hidden and alot of water.
Down side is it's very close to a old farmers watering hole. Dosnt seam to of been used in a while but who knows. And alot of wild life traffic.









All 3 are still used if needed by ranchers but is now classified as a reserve. So no hunters and realy no farmers but ther is a chance of them coming across them. So my question is what ones you you outdoor gurus chose? I like all 3. And if there is 1 you would not grow in why? Thanks in advance.

nice country, there. nice spots too. the hill one is kinda open. super-crop into hedges. shorter and less noticeable.

and good luck with your endeavor. nice, sweet soil at sites? or will ya bag them?

Inground soil. Think bags would stand out to much if anyone ever gets close.

Besides the farmers that might get close. It's 20 miles from anything. Getting ripped isn't realy a big concern. Also each site is 20 min walk apart.

Beautiful area no doubt. Only thing I would be worried about are the lack of trees, so anyone around there might simply be attracted to head to that clump of trees.
other than that looks like a nice area, I would spend more time there.. Make sure it is not some couples romantic spot on the weeknights or something..

Yes I would love to have land like that around me.. wait.. I do. Though it is all hills and forests. Would be much more difficult to navigate in these areas. really steep, w/ thick brush srubs & trees.. I would not want to hike simply due to the insect factor in my hills >.<

Stunning country there. I would choose whichever seems the safest because it doesn't seem like you are lacking access, water, or sun. I like the second spot as long as the southern exposure isn't affected by the terrain.

Been here for years. It's by my moms property but there is only 3 houses near by all about 3 miles apart. We know when anybody gets close. You realy can't get any safer. Poatchers get shot out here. So nobody realy walks around. But I found canyons to walk thru to keep me covered till out of sight.

I would go for the spot with the dead trees where it's bushey. But I also think your mad you need to keep a watchfully eye both for humans and insects.

Well nothing is dead. It's still winter. Trees will be green in a a month. Insects are a big thing but animals are a bigger issue at the moment.

that looks like the western part of KS i just drove through this weekend whichever spot is more southern facing and has more hrs of light

It's central Cali. All are southern facing sites. I took the pics an hour after sunrise. So any sun light is there all day. But what I'm getting so far is try all 3. Still thinking 5 each. I think I'd be better off starting off with site 2 then site 1 then moving to site 3.

I think I should add that I'm way over 30 years old don't live with mom. But she grew when I was a baby. And asking for me to set her up with a indoor grow.

Just do what you feel is best, we can all judge by the pics all day, but we dont know what kinda of county you live in and how much air traffic goes on, but if you feel comfy, I suggest you do all three at the same time, you said there pretty spaced out from each other so if one get riped or busted then you still have the other two

Gorgeous Spots!....IMO, Site#1, the old watering hole, would have crazy high nitrogen soil, with all the old cow shit there, which could be good and bad, and #3 has that big watering bin thing...SCARY!! Or it would be for me anyways, any sign of human life, and I'm off to find another spot! Also, if poachers get shot there, isn't there a possibility of growers also getting shot there?
