Need to slow down production

Hey guys and Gals,
So I have very limited space and a few plants using up my flowering chambers. They have another month to go but for some reason all my clones took and are shooting up like crazy. What's the best way to stunt their growth? At this rate they will be ready to be flowered in a few weeks and the box won't be avalible untill about 6 weeks from now.
Any other ideas besides lowering the lights?

can't expand, already at 700W and I don't want to push it much further... definaly thought about that... I can make the temp drop up to 10 degrees but that will drop the temp for my flowering plants as well and I think they like the heat. (CFL and LED setup in large contained cardboard boxes)

I just need to stall them for another 4 weeks and then there will be room for everything. When I took the clones I thought they'd take a month or two to root, and it only took them 2 weeks, and in the last 2 weeks they are now like 4 inchs high. I need them to stay bellow 24 inchs for about 4 more weeks.

I guess they can't be too upset, they have lots of light, the leaves touching the CFLs die, but I'd imagine CFLs do not make enough heat to ever light the leaves on fire or anything.

no it wont light the leaves on fire but you really shouldn't have the leaves touching the lights i mean if you have no other option you can cut the parts that are touching but you shouldn't let it just burn the plant

can anyone else confirm this? That's the other big question I've been pondering, if the lights are burning the plants anyways, what's the harm in leaving them touching the light and slowly dying rather than me cutting them off, wouldn't it get more out of that?

..............i hope you're kidding dude....why would you want to burn your plants? that just seems ridiculous to me

I just don't understand why burning them is any worse than cutting them off... unless the plants wastes its energy trying to fix the burnt part of the plant or somethin.

I do like the idea of bending the stems, that's what I've been trying, they seem to just shoot back towards the light but maybe if I tie everything down with strings I could probably keep them from touching the lights, it will be a pain and probably have to be re tied every few days but that's a good idea.

take some leafs off each plant and that will help stunt their growth , taking clones off will also do the same thing.

just wack the tops as needed... thin the plants here and there just keeping the robust growth. you can keep a plant any size you want by thinning the plant and topping it as needed. the plants shouldn't get to 24" that fast anyhow under flourescents or cfl's.

less water, poor humidity, poor temps...

HA HA... 'how do i stunt my plants growth?'.... now i've seen everything :D

lmfao no kidding , this is an awsome question though since people been wondering how to increase the growth no one has ever asked how to slow the growth
