ok, so i couldnt stay away from the fourms...
I just wanted a few tips on Clone Care.
about an hour ago, i opened my areoponics device, where i had my clone cutting ( that i wanted to grow roots).
i hadent checked to see if roots had grown in a few days...last time i checked nothing had grown.
sooo when i just checked, the clone cutting had tons of roots shooting out of the bottom of the stem, and the sides. ( i almost wet myself, i was so exited...i never thought it would grow roots)
anyways...i immediatly found a plant container, and held the cutting down into the container, and filled it with dirt...so all the roots were covered, and just the green leaves are above ground.....

so what should i do now,? to make sure that my clone is a success.?
should i start adding nutes? do i still need a humidity dome???
any help or tips on caring for my newly transplanted clone would be awsome !!
thanks everyone :)

i cant believe that just water, and air, made my cutting grow roots.

it took about 2-3 weeks for roots to sprout.

good going. What are your plans for it now? how long are you going to veg it, do you have an oscillating fan blowing gently around it to strengthen the stem, etc. I'd like to see your plans. Any chance of pictures?

i could post some pics, but i recently decided that it was better, if i didnt post pictures...jus to be safe
well, i would like to veg for a month or so...however long it takes for it to get a good size...then i will flower.
yes, in the grow box i have a fan...a built in computer fan, running off of a 12v plug in charger.
i really wish i would of taken a picture of the roots that had grown...they looked wonderful...but they are in soil now.
so do you, or anyone, have tips on keeping the clone alive at this stage....or is all that can be done, been done? and i jus wait for new growth now?
peace... ill be looking for replys

I don't have any tips to give, cause I'm new at this too, but congrats bro. If I find any info as I'm searching today I'll let you know.

i'd go with 1/4 strength nutes for the 1st week of veg. keep an eye on it and see how she reacts to the nutes, if she reacts well then after the 1st week i would gradually increase the strenght of nutes per week.

Best things I ever did for my clones, have patience. The worst things, putting in ferts too early, and getting one cooked by the cfl being too close.
On the other hand I had take real nice, which then gave me two, and so on.

She's a new cutting, with roots trying to grow into a new area. Leave her alone already!

Don't feed her! Wet the soil, and then don't water again until the soil dries out. Maybe give the foliage a spritz once a day is all you need to do.

There is good soil for the roots to grow into if they have the chance, if you water too much, or feed her, they won't have to grow.
