Need help with soil

I wanted to attempt to make my own potting soil being that my grow is getting bigger to try and save a little money. I wanted a soil with little to no fertilizer because I’m going going to be adding liquid nutes. I was thinking a very basic soil 30 percent perlite, 45 percent Loam soil, 25 percent peat moss. Any suggestions? Is my idea of basic soil bad? Appreciate any response, thanks.

Increase perlite. Add dolomite lime.

I've been using the same "basic" soil recipe for years indoor and out. This year I used Fox Farm ocean forest potting mix as my "soil", then pearlite coicoir or whatever it's called. You can't go wrong with this mixture. My grow I have going rn all my girls love it.

That sounds good, but do u add your own nutes? I was always under the impression that with ocean forest u don’t need a lot of nutes. For this grow I wanted to add my own liquid fertilizer.

What liquid fertilizers are you going to use?

I do add my own nutes! I use the botanicare pure blend pro grow and bloom.

My mixture is about 50% FFOF to 25% perlite & 25% coacoa coir. They love it.

Damn they look good guy, I think I got my mix in my head, 30 percent coir, 40 percent perlite, and for the soil I need a recommendation. I’m looking for something with little to no nutes. Where I live the garden stores is Home Depot and all they got it bullshit. I was considering top soil until I cut open the bag and there was mad wood chips. I was considering happy frog by FF but idk. I want just some nice loamy soil with no nutes it’s fuckin impossible to find. I don’t like ordering on the internet because last time I did I had a HUGE fungus that problem, sand did the trick but I’m not trying to go through that again.

I have used earthgro soil with the sane mixture your doing. I used it outdoors because it was cheap but I also believe it has a pretty balanced ph and no added nutes
