I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the potential problems that growing in a closet could have. I was also wondering if the plastic at the base of my plants will cause any damage to them by possibly reflecting light onto the bottom of the leaves.

Any help is much appreciated :dunce:

please somebody give me some advice

The plastic is ok to reflect light back up under the leaves.

Youll still have to build a box in your closet to contain an controll the smell, an to keep the light from messing with your flowering

Good luck

How are you venting air? In the past I hung a blower in the attic with dryer hose ran to a hole in the ceiling of the closet. I am always able to stay about 3 degrees above ambient temperature this way. If you go through the trouble of doing this and have an adequate gap between the floor and the closet door, you won't have any temp/air quality problems. In my experience, this is the key to closet growing. Also, I stealth my electrical supply so as not to have extension cords running under the closet door. If you get this far, you might as well go through the trouble of light-proofing your opening. This can easially be done with a curtain and a pair of staggered shelves for a light trap. As long as your circulation fan is not very loud, your op will be completely invisible to company. Shout back if you would like me to elaborate on anything.

i have a small grow in a closet with a 250 with a built in ballast and all, and don't have too many issues with it.. running a smaller sized light helps to keep the heat issues at bay.. and i have a small vent at the bottom of the closet and a can fan and filter venting out of the top of the closet into a smaller seperate closet that is above the grow closet.. i use a nice thick plastic " curtain " to keep any light from seeping either in or out of the grow, and it works great...

i just take them by the stem and pull them downwards along the main stem and they come right off and you don't leave anything behind that could rot and cause mold issues..
