... plant in the inner right corner. This is flowering day 50.
Veg room is going strong, new fresh tomatos is very nice to have cucumber and peas are in there aswell.

i will chop these between 25th and 30th cos now the trichomes are cloudy and i see one or two amber ones who popped up...

The "early" harvest, this is 2 of my 4 plants.

i chose to take two plants with cloudy and few amber, and will take two plants when 30% is amber for 2 different effects, and to try it out to know what i want in the future.

strain: Northern Lights feminized from Nirvana seeds

Soil: pre-fertilized soil (last for 40 days) "hasselfors p-jord" made on peat n other light materials, drains good but could use some perlite

Pots: 4 Gallon smart-air pots cut of a bit so maybe around 2,5 gallon each

Nutrients: CannaVega, CannaFlores, Superthrive

Lights: 1x400w HPS with reflector + about a week with a 125w cfl. PVC plastic around, white side in ofcourse

Ventilation: Used 1 osciliating fan on the floor and one as exhaust with a 3meter vent hose to my door.
Temps around 18-28 celcius degrees when adjusted correctly in there

Vegged: 30-32 days

Flowered: 2 x plants at 54 days and 2 x plants at 57 days

Yield (ca): the first two plants i cut is as good as dry, maybe cure of a day or two more but that together + my personal stash,
+ the shit ive smoked equal about 90grams and the other two plants are drying at the moment but at the look of it, its a bit more
than the first two plants, so id say about 100-110g so yield would land around 200g/7 oz

Other: Its absolutely resin covered, a good strain, very newbie frendly, good yield, hard dense buds and most important, a good high

update on yield:

as i suspected it would shrink a bit more and the total yield land around 160-170 gram (split it with 28 to get oz)

good smoke, good smell, a little hayi smell still

ill give it a shot in the dark in case anyone still should come by here...

i have a question about the lights...

when they are starting to get ready to be harvested around week 8, should the light be as close as possible or gradualy
more far away? ive heard something about people being able to bloom for weeks and weeks and still never get any of the amber ones... tho they seem to have a fucked up setup..

but what my real question is i guess is: will the plants trichomes get amber quicker the faster the plant is ready/maximum light or that the plant feels like its turning autumn/winter that makes the triches amber? cos thats two very different methods and would be really nice to know...

idk i dont think there is anyway to speed up to get amber trichs. your light should already be as close as possible. lol

i would assume it is hermaphrodites? What to do here? remove, save?
