Do you have a good budget? Or are you looking for el cheapo deluxe?

I got a half decent entry level kit from an eBay "top rated seller" at a better price, so far so good but I don't expect a long life out of it.

If you have the money, don't waste it on half assed gear.

Presently, if I understand right, Gorilla has the best tents.

that's everything in your pic for 519...so say 550 after shipping. that leaves you 270 for the rest of the stuff you will need...

humidifier (if you have low humidity)
pots
soil (if you go soil, I would recommend for first grow while you learn)
seeds
nutrients
small fan for air circ inside
temp controller (highly recommend, I got one and love it)

you can basically get everything you need from amazon except seeds, a small order will run you around 100 bucks after shipping and stuff, 100 bucks should get you around a dozen or so beans with the freebies most places include.

you should practice on some bagseeds first though just so you don't toast expensive beans on trial and error...growing is not as difficult as people make it seem just research on enviormental conditions and provide them...the rest comes with patience. keep a clean grow room and your cats out of it if you don't want bugs

I wouldn't buy that. For that budget here's exactly what I'd buy based on what's available right now:

Nutrients (I like Fox Farms and Canna. I even mix them with no problems)
2 X Area 51 W100 Led
1 X Secret Jardin (or Gorilla) 3X3 Tent
1 X 5 Gallon Fabric Smart Pot
1 X Piece of Rockwool one inch X one inch
1 X Bag Soil (Canna, Fox Farms, Plagron, Bio Bizz, etc.)
1 X Small Fan (I just got a new Honeywell black round one that works great. Doesn't necessarily have to be oscillating either)
1 X PH meter
1 X set of good trimming scissors
1 X Seed
1 X Timer

I just pulled exactly 150 grams trimmed and dried off a Barney's Sweet Tooth Auto using this exact set up minus the Area 51 lights. I'm still using a two year old BlackStar 270 Chrome. I'm pretty sure I could do better by upgrading my single light to two Area 51's. Been thinking about pulling the trigger on that.

I don't have a need for a carbon filter. I just grow one plant at a time for personal stash. I live alone so there's nobody to hide anything from. Of course I don't let people go looking around my house either but you know what I mean.

if you want to do it right equipment costs money, im sure you could scour the internet looking for better deals I was just trying to make a point that within 5 min I was able to find exactly what is in the "special offer" he posted plus more for the same price.

personally I would go with a 600w instead of the 1k and a 4x4 grow tent. that will knock another 100 bucks off.

only thing he would be missing out on is that giant hood and personally I feel huge hoods are all flash.
