I have 4 400 watt MH and 4 400 watt HPS, I am not using all of these yet, but want to get a cooling system together for these bad boys!!

Any ideas on how to do this, oh this is going into a full basement, so no cabinet or stealth box designs needed.

But all ideas and tips, with comments or suggestions are welcomed!!!

Thanks guys!bongsmilie

In my loft i have 3x 600w hps flower room, and a 400w mh veg room and 6x 55w cfl in cloning room, all rooms are light proor sheeted from each other, and i have a 8000btu (british thermal units) air con unit in flower room with fans and ducting going to other rooms, and ducting, and fans at the top of the rooms sending hot air back into flower room. works sweet constant 75-80f in all rooms. oh also i have a heater in flower room for night which kickes in when temp drops.
i have been trying to put some pics up but it keeps saying security tokens missing, ill keep trying though.
good luck!

Is that a heater?
I need a cool tube for around the lights, any ideas on that, or how to basically cool down the heat problem?

250CFM fan should work (NOT an inline duct booster for $30) should work fine if the inlet and outlet is outside of the room. Using the lamp cooling as the vent too, bump it up a bunch. and a whole lot more if a filter/scrubber is on it.
Think singe task.

Do you have any drawings or plans on how to do that?

Nope.

But think a sealed hood/cool tube with a duct on either end and a fan/blower blowing through it from outside the grow room through the lamp and back outside the grow room.

(I like my fan before the lamp. More air molecules at the lamp and less heat on the fan)

Then you are on your own for vent/filtering.

I just don't know what to use for the actual light tube, cuz i can't find any of those pyrex tubes, or hurricane glass things anywhere!! I am about to get 4 400 watt HPS going but need a way to cool before i install, ya' know?

Just get the hoods.

Craft stores might have glass tubes
